				 | Quote: I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and have bought them legends from the Carboot sale. Cheap 5 POA 3.75 figures even offered them some of the spare MU figures and they don't really care.. I tried them with the Mashers and they play for hours.. The youngest got a lot of those 12" cheap looking marvel figures and again playboy hours with them.. I think the point is everyone's tastes are different Quote: The parcel from UKMU arrived, which it would considering he spent a tenner on quick postage on the 30th so the stamp says. From "B. Strucker" of Hydra Lane no less. White Fury means I've got the 3 Shield oldies (Dugan and Contessa), and the Golden Compass Nicole Kidman head is perfect for Peggy. 2 of TheLongestDay's Doombot capes were included, which is nice. On the flip side, does anyone know what I can do with 5 Moon Knight heads? |

Biggs as Bronson.... classic! I searched "70's male porn star pic" to post something funny. I can never UN see what I just saw. On the plus side, there were many moustaches...... Maybe draw a goatee on Biggs to complete the look. Looks like a good fit on Chameleons body though.

I got this sketch from pilkster in the mail this week. Thanks pilkster! It's awesome (hope my crappy pic does it justice). Now I just need to find that 5 POA ultron and the new 3.75" legends one soon. Also went to a local comic con this weekend. Didn't spend a penny on toys for myself as the con didn't have much 3.75" stuff. Oh well, more money went to comics this year. |

The arm that had broken off of my original MU Spidey(seriously, this is one of the three figures that got me into collecting)would stay on when I tried to glue it many times, so I devised a solution involving shear-like scissors and a safety pin. Thoughts? |

Next time I highly advise going to us for something like this. Not sure how important this figure is to you but if I had one of my childhood toys broken I'd send it to a professional. I definitely wouldn't wanna risk breaking it.

Snagged Black Bolt for $4.25 and Rogue for $24 yesterday on a bid on eBay. Pretty happy about it and I think I got an excellent deal if you compare them to their actual value. Btw, not sure how this stuff works but will the Inhumans 3 pack increase in value when the Inhumans movie comes out?

I've been through the Ups and Downs. Live by these rules and you'll be happier in the long run, it makes the journey more fun: 1. If you want it and have the means to get it - Get it. 2. If you are more interested in the value of the item, you do not want/need the item. 3. Collectors collect. Collectors are not in this to turn a quick profit. They are in because they love the product. 4. Say your prayers and take your vitamins. Rinse and Repeat. |

A good majority of what you have been posting has been about the value of this, the value of that or the what the value may be. We are collectors - the value is in the eye of the beholder. Do we believe you got a good deal on these? If you wanted them and felt it was the right price then absolutely! I've been collecting for the better part of 20 years. Edit: As for the Spidey arm; since you have that pin in there, ever think about going with rare earth magnets? You can get them pretty small and just attach the other end with a small screw that has a head that conforms to the shape of the joint; so that the magnet rests on it an can be swiveled and pivoted without it slinging back into only one position. I've thought about doing this but getting the magnets that size has been a challenge, albeit I haven't really invested enough research for myself. Last edited by Universe; 11-02-2015 at 06:44 PM.. |

He's not a childhood figure, but he was one of the ones that started my collection later on. He's been broken for a year, and I just wanted a good way for him to remain part of my collection. But yeah, I would've gone to you guys if my internet had not been maxing out near the end of last month(when I did this).

if that's the ultimate Spiderman that had the Miles variant he's pretty common. I think you can get one from china all day... that arm is probably never going to be right again, but if you're attached to that specific one you could get the China bay one for parts. Just wanted to let the people on here know that I am unloading my entire Marvel Universe Infinite 3.75 inch figures on Ebay right now. Ebay name is Phantomcrow as well. (as noted recently, you will notice my green stairs that are behind a lot of the pics I post from home ;-) They are in lots and grouped together in teams and squads. I really have just decided to let the 3.75 inch go. Most lots are starting around 20-30$...so around 5$ bucks a figure. |

I like that MI is still coming out, but with all the changes being made now is the time to call it quits. I started picking up legends and they are seriously just 6" versions of original MU. I really can't stand how much better they are than the crap Hasbro gives to us. Figures like Klaw are great examples that the same figure can be available in two scales, but if you compare the Legends Chameleon to the new MI statue Chameleon you can see that we are getting the shaft... |

I see some things i could have used..but not grouped like that...good luck selling!!!

If I switch to 6", it won't be to collect more Marvel. I already have an awesome Marvel collection in 3.75" scale. DC Icons are looking good though...

				 | Quote: I have been a 6 inch Legends collector since the 1st Toy Biz line (I even bought Toad). Universe was always a secondary collection for me, but with how the line has been treated, I am bowing out. The 6 Inch Legends are just better and more diverse , and getting more so, and for the 20$ (sometimes 18$) price I feel like I get more value compared to the now 13$ price the Universe has gone to. |
