I'm pretty excited that I was able to grab Prowler and Mysterio at Walgreens on sale. Wish they had the whole case, but I'll take what I can get. Mysterio looks way better in person, I originally liked the Toybiz one better, but seeing this in person has changed my mind.

My heart gave a flip when I saw the front page with the MS Beast, thinking it was a legends reveal. 7 inch figure but I would think he could scale okay, he's a pretty big guy. Though I'm sure we'll get a Legends of him either in 2019-2020 AT LATEST that will be more in line.
FWIW also ToyBiz Beast is one of the handful of figures from them that holds up remarkably well, so it's not so much that he's needed so badly, as he's pretty high up on the roster to get done.

Not that anyone has posted any yet, but a friendly reminder that we should please, please, please try to refrain from posting spoilers for Black Panther for at least a week. I can't speak for everyone but I have to work most of the weekend (which never happens) and I won't be able to see it until Sunday evening.
For those who have seen it, I'm glad to see you are enjoying it. I can not wait to check it out! I've always liked Black Panther. He's such a cool character!

My apologies. I'm a stickler for scale accuracy & can be called the scale Nazi if you want. Are some of you aware or not aware that the Marvel select line is scaled in the 7 inch scale so therefore, barely any of their figures are going to be in scale with the Marvel legends line? So when I see someone saying a 7 inch tall MS Beast figure will "fit in" with ML X-men figs, it just makes me shake my head. Is Beast a 7 footer now in the comics? Even the MS Wolverines are all too tall to scale with ML X-related figs. Only fig I ever thought worked perfectly with ML was the Watcher figure. The 4' scale MU Beast that came out a couple yrs ago would be the perfect Beast figure imo if Hasbro scaled it at the ML scale of 6' & of course added the ab crunch they cheaply left out of the 4' version.

Fyi, there is no hascon this year, next one is 2019.

No worries, if that scale doesn't work for you I understand. It's certainly not perfect and I admit it. But I'm going to fudge on it until we get an official ML Beast. If something doesn't work for your collection based on your rules for it, that doesn't harm anyone else. The opposite it also true of course, my rules for my collection.

I'm pretty certain that sooner or later, Hasbro will be making a ML scaled classic Beast & if done well, I will be more than happy to get it.

oh absolutely! I'm 90% betting that he will be in 2019's wave. The other 10% says 2020 but I really don't think they'll hold it off longer than that. If the Bishop rumor is true for the Deadpool 2 wave, Hasbro will have done every figure that was part of the Blue and Gold team except for Beast and Gambit. Granted, Iceman, Colossus and Storm are in different outfits, and Jean and Archangel are quite a few years ago, but Gambit and non-cat Beast haven't had any Hasbro figures at all.

I want them to complete that line up. I can gloss over the differences in Iceman and Colossus but I need a Gold team Storm outfit and Cat Beast simply will not do, even without him being a figure that's 9 years old.

Aren’t we expecting a new beast in the upcoming x wave? I don’t remember the list but I thought beast was in there.

Nope, it's (Revealed) Storm, Psylocke, Madrox, Wolverine, Gladiator and (unrevealed) Magneto and Sabretooth.

I only ask because I've seen so much hype about it, and I just know there's gonna be a bunch of people getting their asses chapped about a product not being revealed that may never have existed in the first place.

Though please tell me I missed some more evidence of confirmation, because damn if I don't want that set too.
The company later took down the video and removed the Sentinel. Seems odd if it’s not real.

There's all kinds of pictures of the first five, some dating back to last year's Hascon in Sept. It's the 80's punk Mohawk Storm....surely you knew this already? You're a regular here.

We don't know yet on Magneto and Sabretooth. I guess I should say they are rumored still, but everything else from a list from last year has been spot on, so it's a more than fair chance it's accurate.

I hope it's another Jim Lee style Magneto, because we really didn't get a fair chance to grab him the first time around.

I would post pictures but I honestly suck at it. I end up with those little thumbnail attachments and everythng.

You're better off just looking at them on this link MarvelLegends.Net - Marvel Legends X-Men Series - Apocalypse BAF or searching out the official reveal photos and sculpts they've shown off.
