That’s definitely shady. What about cmdstore.com? I placed an order with them yesterday so hopefully there aren’t a bunch of horror stories haha.

They do both. The guy who runs the show is related to the guy who published Toyfare magazine, and whenever Toyfare had a limited edition exclusive, SOMEHOW they had a buttload on hand early at a huge markup, and always had extra stock on hand whenever the exclusive sold out, which they would bundle with crap they couldn't sell so they could make people desperate for the exclusive take their pegwarming junk. Here's an article about it:

So it looks like Thanos is basically hitting all Wal-Mart's right now atleast around me. 2 stores showed a case in stock but I'm pretty sure they were coming off the truck tonight. The other issue is that walmart will typically hold new product for resets which are coming imminently.

I observed this 1st hand as I went back to the store where I scored the riders and the Infinity wave and the product I left had never been put out just made it's out to the back. So it may take some assistance if you're trying to score this stuff before the resets are done.

I saw he had 4 of a certain two pack in his cart, leaving none on the shelf. We started talking and I said how I was looking for that two pack. He looked at me and fully serious said to me, "well you can buy one of these from the store for -insert inflated price here-" (I want to say it was a $20 or $25 two pack, this was some time ago and he was saying the store was charging double the retail price). I hate saying negative stuff online, but seriously, I advise you go elsewhere.
Sounds like the owner to a store around me called Hero Headquarters.

He will send his employees out to find figures at the TRU and Walmart that are down the street from him and mark the figures up $20. Not just that, but he does it to the figures he even gets instock. The day the first wave of DCD Arkham Asylum figures came out he priced Harley at $65 despite his discounts for ordering from Diamond.

Ughh. I checked three walmarts that brickseek said had Thanos and at each store was disappointed. I checked the upc with employees who verified that their computers said they had it but none of them actually had it. Only one of the employees answered when I asked if it was in the back and they told me if it was they wouldn't know where to look, something about a delay between the computers and the stock room. The other two just shrugged. So that was a complete waste of time.

That was pretty much my experience too, until I found the Walmart where they had them on the shelf. The other stores I might as well have been asking the Walmart employees to check Target’s inventory.

On the Thanos front, I would check back again tomorrow as it appears they are updating brickseek when the truck is finalized but not necessarily worked to the floor yet. If you guys really want these I would hit your local wally 1st thing when night crew is still cleaning up.

honestly that's the only store i check anymore for legends if i decide to go for a "hunt". because even if i don't find any figures, at least i end up walking out with something.

Yeah lately both Target and of course TRU are virtually a wasteland for new stuff.

Wal-Mart will almost always get all of the stuff you just have to be persistent and of course a little luck doesn't hurt either.

That’s how I feel about the Lizard wave figures I want haha. I’ve been basically stalking my local Targets, but no luck so far.

Wait, what? Brickseek couldn't even register the bikers under Walmart this morning when I looked.

My closest Walmart did a toy aisle reset during the summer, just before the Netflix and Thor waves were just about to hit, and they eliminated the Marvel Legends pegspace completely. They have not stocked a Legends figure since. Maybe with all of this Marvel product hitting, they will devote some space to them again, but they reduced the toy area significantly and I don’t know how they could even fit them in.

^ My closest Walmart clearanced out the GotG wave 2 and that was it... think they are done with Legends forever now.

I'm hoping Domino is a quasi-pegwarmer so I can find her easily. I was semi-shocked when Shatterstar became a pegwarmer... I mean Sunfire was harder to find than Shatterstar... that I was surprised by.

Walmart nearest me (hellmart as I call it) had one single full wave of the Infinity War figures -probably just put out - Dickerson Rd Walmart if you're interested. Though don't go looking for Songbird, Proxima or King Cobra because they came home with me.

Still no sign of Deadpool or Lizard wave but that's okay because I've got my order for the three loose figures I want from those two waves in through Dorkside. I'm cool to wait. With such a small amount wanted from those two waves it's just not worth the effort to do otherwise.

They were there when I checked this morning. Just used the UPC and the one closest to me showed 3 in stock which was 1 case.

I have a feeling widow will become a tough get only coming 1 to a case. Scalpers are gonna grab her up quick.
