I came across the Endgame wave at Walmart today. Not ready to pull the trigger on them yet but I am curious to hear how people get around the "we can't sale these yet" issue. Is it a matter of asking for a manager or do you have to know someone who's willing to bend the rules to sell it to you early? |

Yeah, I just watched a YT review video on this 2 pack. The female body does indeed have double jointed elbows. I think the reviewer even mentioned a bicep swivel as well.(don't hold me to that 2nd part).

I'm not on some moral high horse but technically this is stealing. The receipt will show a different item so you didn't pay for it in the eyes of the store or the law. Granted, the average employee probably isn't going to know you're holding Ebony Maw instead of Yon-Rogg but you never know.

Sometimes, managers are more interested in making a sale, so they'll just let it go. But in the case of street dated items, there can be severe penalties including fines that can be levied against the store should they break them and someone wants to follow up on it. DO NOT attempt the practice that Erland suggested. That is considered a type of fraudulent practice whether you paid or not, and you can get into some serious trouble for this. I saw someone attempt to do this back in the day when I used to work for Tower Records, and when they were caught, the police got involved and besides being arrested, they were banned from the store. It's a twenty dollar figure...it's not worth getting into serious trouble over. The 31st is right around the corner. If you get lucky...great...but if not...be patient and flex your super collector muscles and put in the work to beat the scalpers when they are mass released. |

Not sure if anyone is still looking for the Walmart exclusive Netflix Luke Cage and Claire Temple 2 pack, but it's on the Walmart site for $34.93. Still too much imo, but i'm not interested in this at all.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Marvel-Le...7f&athena=true Also the Walmart Exclusive Vibranium suit BP is $16.93... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Marvel-Le...61&athena=true |

If you got a plate and pins, you will definitely have to go to PT. DO THE EXERCISES. It hurts, but do them all. You will lose mobility in you wrist if you don't. It sucks. It will also hurt when the weather changes. The doctors will tell you it won't, but they are liars. I broke both bones in my wrist and fractured my elbow in a skateboard fall. I do have a pretty sweet scar now though.

Haven't posted in a minute, but figured I'd share this incident that went in my favor
![]() So, went on the usual shopping trip to Target. Stopped by the toys as usual. Found a BLATANT toy swap (as the photo will show), but bought it anyway. The BP/M'Baku wave has only hit Gamestop and Walgreens here (and one Walmart). All my discounts/coupons are for Target. Only missing two parts for M'Baku, and actually wanted this figure anyway. I guess that somebody bought a case of that wave and wanted to dump the extras? Either way, I'm totally happy with the result, which is pretty rare when it comes to swaps!

You know nothing yet of pain. Wait until you get the bill. Two hundred bucks for a tylenol? That's when the real pain sets in.

I said that there is supposed to be more of a focus on cosmic stuff in Phase 4, not that it was the only thing they are going to do. Like you mentioned, there's GOTG 3 and Captain Marvel 2. Marvel has also been talking about the possibility of an Eternals movie. There's also the Asgardians who survived Infinity War. Thor told the GOTG that Thanos killed half of his people so half of them are still in space with Valkyrie (they revealed yesterday that she IS alive). They could even do something with the Fantastic Four.

I remember thinking the same thing...then I ended up in ICU for three days and received a bill for nearly 150,000 dollars, which after insurance and hospital write offs still left me a bill close to ten grand. The best was those 5 minute visits the doctor paid me to tell me about lab results or to ask me how I was feeling. One hundred and seventy bucks ($170) PER VISIT. Thank goodness for the hard working men and women who nurse us back to health, but healthcare in the US is unscrupulous extortion on a level right on par with organized crime... Glad to hear your surgery went well Nite! Do the therapy, and avoid drinking scotch with those painkillers! |

Sorry, but Mac is right here. Remember that a purchase is considered a "sales agreement" in a court of law, and even if you plop down the amount of money for said goods, the seller in many cases has the right to refuse services on special occasions. It doesn't matter if you paid for it, until you physically leave the store, they have the right to stop you and get their item back (with a refund of course.)
Sometimes, managers are more interested in making a sale, so they'll just let it go. I would say the best course of action if you ran into a problem getting rang up for something that might be street dated is to bring a full price legend along with you to the cashier, explain they are the same thing and talk them into completing the transaction for you. Target especially trains their cashiers to move fast and you probably wouldn’t get much resistance.

My Quantum Suit (or whatever we are calling them...SCIENCE!!!) Cap arrived yesterday, and having had a chance to goof around with him a bit today, here are a few thoughts. ![]() The only accessory Cap comes with is his shield, which we've seen a hundred times already, although this one does differ in deco a bit, as it has an additional painted silver ring around the star that the previous shields did not. The suit is well sculpted and articulates pretty well, and while I was concerned with scale initially, it's really not all that much smaller than the Civil War/Studios/Winter Soldier Cap figures. The colors (or even the suit for that matter) isn't all that accurate to what we saw in the trailers, but it still looks good for what it is, and I do like the color palate they went with over the whites and blacks we saw in the final products. The headsculpt is actually really good...and was probably my biggest surprise. It's not quite Evans from the Avengers, as that is what it's based off of, but it's generic enough that it can pass for it at certain angles, and the faceprint is expertly applied. Best of all, the blue is tinted just enough that it will work with the previous Walmart Avengers Cap, provided you have the darker tinted variant of that figure. The head also fits perfectly on that Walmart Avengers Cap, however you will still need to mod it, as it sits VERY high on that figure's neck. ![]() All in all, this is one of those figures that is much better in person than the promotional pics we've seen give it credit, and while it's not so bad, it's actually better than I expected. However, in the end, this is gonna be a figure that you're gonna lean one way or the other depending on your personal tastes and whether or not you gotta catch em all. |

It doesn't help that I'm a mark for Captain America Legends. I saw some of the wave in stores today...I can already see Nighthawk will be soon joining the league of misfit Legends such as MCU Wasp, Domino, and Paladin in the very near future... |
