New Marvel Legends/6" Appreciation Thread

A local Gamestop got in the Hulk set so I didn't have to wait for my pre-order after all. I'll get my Wolverine thoughts out of the way first since he was definitely not the reason I got the set. It's still a well done figure but mostly a retread given that I've already got the brown and tiger stripe costumes. To the figure's credit the new head sculpt is great and his softer color tones help distinguish him from his fellow Wolverines. Otherwise it's functionally still the same great toy that I have been lured into buying yet again because Logan loves wardrobe changes.

Hulk is just plain incredible. He's big and monstrous but not unwieldy. The articulation is great, while the butterfly joints don't let his arms go any more forward the ability to go back adds a lot of expressiveness to certain poses. The sculpt and paint (as minimal as it is) are also top-notch and capture his classic comic look almost perfectly. This is the Hulk I've been waiting for since I started collecting Legends and he does not disappoint.

Looks like that Deadpool thing was the Hasbro Pulse ML Reveal. They went all out on He-man, and transformers but gave ML's parts they had laying around and a repaint. Way Too Go Hasbro. Lots of Effort. Thanx.

Why not release this white suit and another generic (kingpin?) with the heads and hands for Mr Negative, The Rose, Shadow King, Jigsaw etc. Now that would make too much sense!

I used an irwin r scheister wwe elite for a hammerhead body.

am i the only one that hates the idea of deadpool having his pinky out when holding the swords? its like they are trying to make edgy as having a man bun.

I agree. I mean itd be fine if it was an alternate hand but it does look stupid. I hated it when it debuted on the juggernaut wave deadpool and hate it to this day.

Cheers Harbinger. I've checked it out. I was looking for more suited, but I totally see why you choose that body. Is cool.

London comic con has a stall where they have loads of wrestling figures. I will check it out.

Anyone else has other options for Hammerhead's body?

That zebra print pistol and the guitar are kinda cool though...there's like a gaudy 80s aesthetic going on here that I kinda like....I'm just questioning why we needed this at all. I still don't know if this was ever actually a thing in the comics or Hasbro just thinks they can slap Deadpool on literally anything because "omg so quirky xD"

Also what's that big Deadpool symbol accessory? Is that supposed to be a shield?

Just finished work and waiting for "James" from parcel force to deliver my Rescue, Beta Ray etc. Here I am with a wine and a head of Gwyneth Paltrow to put on my spare Rescue.
Now, that's dedication! Haha.

Just a warning...it sits REALLY high on the neck peg. You'll need to mod the head or the neck post in order for it to look right.

missed the figures going up on Dorkside. Ordered Heimdall this morning but missed out on vision. I'm not sweating it, if he comes back through Dorkside or Amazon or I see him at retail in the fall I'll pick him up. Heimdall was the one I wanted more.

I dunno why hasbro put that outdated walmart avengers cap in a new wave. That thing is terribly dated and woefully undersized, especially by todays standards. Almost wish theyd put out armored cap aka civil warrior.
