Pulse has charged me for all of my preorders (Nightcrawler, Mr Sinister, Storm, Dazzler, and Hulk/Wolverine), so hopefully they ship out soon.

Same. Just got charged for Nightcrawler, Sinister, and Samurai. Hopefully my orders from Dorkside for Thor, IM, and Colossus aren’t too far behind.

I'll get Ice Man, Silver Samurai, Iron Man, Thor, and the rest of the Wendigo wave when I can afford it. I've got a website to renew next week and they upped the renewal cost from $203 to $293.

At first I thought this was the work of a repacker, but...nope. And certainly not twice! Guess someone screwed up big-time at the factory, lol.

Picked up Thor today at Target. They were doing a toy aisle reset and the guy got it from the back for me. He also had the SPIDERMAN/Iron man two pack in back.

Happy Hunting Arkers!!

OR... someone bought a bunch clearance Paladin and swapped the insides for Far from Home figures... thinking that is more likely than Hasbro suddenly packaging Paladin in Far From Home boxes.

Given that it's not too terribly difficult to do swaps with the newer box style, I'd wager it's a swap.

At least they knew what they were doing, since there's nearly no warping to the box itself.

I'm thinking that, especially given Paladin's age at this point. I found one for as cheap as $4 in June so I'm sure there are plenty that can be found. Although it is interesting that they are complete Paladins with no missing bits.

Now that’s the truth, they’re some savages. There’s a kick in the dick waiting for each and everyone of those Swappers.
Should’ve taken a pic but one Target near me had the MU 3.75 Symbi Spidey And Kraven Swapped in the place of the Legends two pack. I don’t know how they had the Guts to even risk it.

Because most customer service people either don't care or don't care.

I’d rather have the Palidins than two of those Spider-Man figures. Kind of odd...

People do the same with WWE Elite figures too.

That is totally what happened.

I finally picked up the rest of the SP//dr wave I needed lol. Yep, really. That was one wave I just always pushed to the backlog and thought I missed it. Bought Doc Ock and Dagger waaaay back at release. Snagged Scarlet Spider several weeks ago. Found Elektra on clearance last week at Gamestop. The rest all randomly went back in stock on amazon so I grabbed them yesterday afternoon. They showed up today.

Off topic but Prime was always fast when I lived in Washington but that was obviously because of my location. It was almost always overnight or 1 day for me at no extra charge simply because I lived so close to Seattle. It hasn't been great down here. Prime would routinely actually be 5 days. They have definitely stepped up distribution down here with UPS instead of FedEx.

^^That's definitely some swapper nonsense. This is why Hasbro needs to move away from "collector friendly" packaging, and move back towards clamshells or blister cards similar to what they are doing with the retro series.

Same for Black Series as well. I've seen couple of Obi Wan swaps already where the Episode 1 figure was replaced by the Episode 3 figure.

Look up an Ebay seller by the name of camarodude1967. I've bought several pieces from him in the past and his work has always been on point.

You can also find him on Facebook @ Beyond Thunderdome Painted Heads

Ya sound like me haha. But I’m Glad to see I’m not alone. I can’t tell if Walmart either hires the laziest people. Or working at Walmart just makes people give up. It’s probably a bit of both..

Anyway. Has anyone else who has the 80th Thor have super loose joints problems? Mine suffers from it terribly. Specially from knees and arms.

The amount of resumes I see with 3 months to 1 year at Walmart is astounding. I think they just hire anyone they can get, and turn over their staff constantly.

As someone with friends and family who have worked at Walmart, it's this. They all-but struggled to maintain a positive work attitude.

Having worked in retail for several years, I can speak from experience and say it's absolutely not a "bit of both". While there is the occasional "lazy" hire, the majority of employees are completely worn out and worn down from being expected to do the job of 3 people for barely more than minimum wage, coupled with the fact that there is not one retail employee that can earn a living wage working one job.

Anyone familiar with retail knows that 'shrink' happens everywhere and the usual suspects fall somewhere on the thieving spectrum; brazen shoplifter, return bandit, swap asshole, etc. What's interesting about the running dialogue on this particular thread, is how little time it takes to move from blaming thieves to blaming employees. Equally interesting is that this blame-phenomenon seems exclusive to Walmart and Target, despite the fairly common knowledge that thieves steal anywhere and everywhere they can. Regardless of what some believe the employees of these two outlets should do to eliminate theft, the fact remains that both stores carry a large and varied assortment of very steal'able shit. When you carry so many smaller items, it becomes very difficult to prevent this sort of thing.

Yea I figured that as much. I wanted to give the employees the benefit of doubt.

Yea I probably talked a bit outta my ass(i know I do it often so it’s come to be expected) because I’ve never worked retail so I haven’t a clue about that. The Sentence “the fact that there is no one retail employee that can earn a living wage working one job” is the truest sentence I’ve ever read. I’ve never really had a problem with retail in general just Walmart. The only part that truly bothers me is when going to ask an employee any type of question before halfway thru it I get a exaggerated Sigh and “what do you want” 95% of the time. And when being shown Swapped figures at the service desk I’ve gotten “well what do you want us to do” only to come back the next day and have them on the same Pegs.
Target Employees are top notch in my experiences. Which further proves what boy blunder said. I think it’s mainly corporate Walmart that’s truly the problem that trickles down and effects lower employees. Possibly due to what you’ve said the “Pay” and the “worn down from being expected to do the job of 3”

^^^Sorry for the long ass paragraph haha.

Anyway back onto figs, before Half the chat gets wiped again.
Has any actually found Alex Ross Caps at Walmart or anywhere yet?
