Since we're back to the "in case Hasbro is lurking and reading" bit and everyone's listing what they'd like to see, I'll toss in my two cents (which are two cents more than my opinions are actually worth):
For an "Avengers wave", I'd love to see classic red-and-black suit Wasp, Ultron, classic Falcon, classic U.S. Agent, Mr. Hyde and "Heroes Return" gypsy suit Scarlet Witch. For a "Fantastic Four" wave, I'd love to see the Mole Man, the Wizard, Mr. Fantastic in his blue-and-white John Byrne era uniform, Invisible Woman in her John Byrne uniform, Molecule Man and She-Hulk in her F.F. uniform. They could even have a Johnny Storm and The Amazing Bag-Man two-pack and I'd buy it. For a "Hulk" wave, I'd love to see Ringmaster, classic Leader, Nightmare, Mr. Fix-It Gray Hulk, brown Pantheon uniform Professor Hulk, and Zzzax. Having a Harpy Build-A-Figure would be cool too, or a two-pack Betty Ross and Bruce Banner with an alternate green-eyed "Hulk out" head. For an "Iron Man" wave, I'd love to see classic Mandarin, classic Crimson Dynamo, Kang the Conqueror, Constrictor, War Machine, and "Heroes Return" Iron Man. For a Spider-Man wave, I'd love to see a first-appearance Mary Jane Watson, classic Shocker, purple-and-blue suit Boomerang, 80s armored Rhino, classic Kaine and the 1999 "Spider-Man Unlimited" suit Spider-Man. A Man-Mountain Marko Build-A-Figure would be cool too. For a retro "Spider-Man" wave, I'd love to see a John Romita Sr. based Spider-Man, classic Chameleon, a John Romita Sr. based/brighter suit colors classic Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles, classic Electro, classic Green Goblin with alternate heads (Norman Osborn, Harry Osborn, Bart Hamilton), and "Amazing Friends" Firestar. For an "X-Men" wave, I'd love to see green-and-yellow suit Banshee, classic/70s Storm, classic White Queen, classic Avalanche, classic Pyro and '80s/"Secret Wars" Rogue. For the rest of the "X-Men: Age of Apocalypse" figures, I'd love to see Bishop, Cyclops, Magneto, Mr. Sinister, Nightcrawler and Rogue make the cut. If Hasbro re-releases Build-A-Figures as sold-separately figures, I'd love to see classic Sandman and classic Rhino (preferably with a non-screaming classic head) make the cut. I would've made a Top 10 list, but let's face it: with so many fan-favorite characters we want to see made into figures, it's very hard to list just 10. |

Some of those Walgreens prices might be cause they're closing stores, the one right next to me is closing abruptly and will be gone in the next 10 days.

There's a good chance they'll make Wong for the Doctor Strange sequel.

But get rid of them and they don't have a home anywhere else (there isn't a single figure of any wave i would have kicked for Binary Captain Marvel, Worthy Captain America, or Thanos redeco). So keep then coming! People just need to be patient and wait for restocks... once the Scalpers, Hoarders, and Collectors have their fill they tend to be readily available.
Meanwhile I've had no trouble tracking down all the Target, Walgreens, and Gamestop and even TRU exclusives thus far. I know I'm not alone because others here have had similar problems and have voiced their frustrations quite frequently. Eighty percent of my local Walmarts are a joke in the boy's toys/action figure department at the moment, with as much as 60 percent of the pegs in the aisle being bare, or stuffed with items badly in need of being clearanced out, or the 12 inch hero series figs from Hasbro and everyone else doing them these days. I've long said this...but Walmart gives two shits about if their exclusives are stocked, because you came into the store to buy your toilet paper and baby diapers, so they got you already. So in turn, Hasbro should drop their sorry butts off a steep cliff. You mentioned that without Walmart, those other figs would have had to eat space in a wave or never seen the light of day. I disagree with that notion strongly...because Hasbro has being doing just fine with these 80th variant figures without Walmart (who clearanced them out within weeks for some reason for...EMPTY SHELVES!) by offering them up as simple fan channel exclusives that could be easily attained from online vendor of choice with little to no stress. @Redfox Nice job! Good choice of swaps! |

My Walmart just put out a full case of the Loki/Glave 2 pack today. LOL. Pretty sure that is the first time they ever showed up there, so I guess 6+ months from now I should expect to see the Caps show up.

So far I've had good fortune with tracking down Walmart exclusives that I want but there are a good chunk of the ones I don't want that I've never seen and some that I've only seen once. Of all the stores that get exclusives, Walmart is the biggest pain in the ass to deal with. In my personal experience Walgreens is only just better but the volume of locations makes it easier to go around checking them.

I’ve probably said it a thousand times but I’ll say it again. I hate Walmart exclusives. I have never seen a single one but Worthy Caps ONCE. Never seen any other legends Walmart exclusive. Not even Binary cap marvel that apparently some have seen on clearance.

That looks really good, if I wasn't using that head for my comic Widow I'd borrow that idea

lol looking at Jean and seeing those Kim K botox injected lips reminds me of how much of a joke some comic tropes are...in the same way that Ronda, Misha, and Amanda forego the lipstick and heels before pugilistic endeavors, I have to imagine super-heroines would also skip the nails and make-up before trekking out to fight Magneto...

Guess I'm going to need to re-shoot the video... threw together a really easy Sunspot today (not putting a ton of effort into him- I'm sure Hasbro will make him soon enough anyways) Nightcrawler head (with his demon bits trimmed off) painted black (and yellow eyes/mouth) and popped on a black suit Spiderman body (also painted glossy black to match) Some black/Yellow on a couple of those standard ML energy effect and ta-da... Also did some torso popping to make NM Cannonball and X-Force Cannonball able to swap the blast effect...
![]() @ TP- you and I will just have to agree to disagree about Walmart and their place in the exclusive figure business. But I do wish you the best of luck in finding what you're after ![]() |

^ They announced 90's Sunspot and Warpath at NYCC... although he wasn't all black in the promo pics. Wasn't too crazy about how Warpath looked either with his giant shoulders pads... both are must buys though. Not sure when they are supposed to come out however.

...I think Ronda may have (I doubt it though because it'd be an eye irritant when sweating and may even be illegal - irritant to others potentially and might affect grip for chokes and neck cranks) worn a base, but not lipstick, mascara, nor lashes. Maybe that's why she looked so uncomfortable getting knocked out..."not the face, not the face!" Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 11-04-2019 at 05:05 AM.. |

I know I don't get much love around here because you guys don't realize that I'm DFD from back in the day, but I thought I'd share this info anyway....... Walmart just put up some restock on their website Rescue, Jubilee, Mysterio...... go get 'em. $20 or less, seriously.
