Oh snap ! I haven't been following the news/updates about the upcoming Secret Wars event, so I have no idea what this A-Force is about, but I'm definitely intrigued by any book that features Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Spider-Gwen, and Jean Grey (especially in her Phoenix costume ) !

The glaring absence of Sue Storm from this assemblage of Marvel's top female characters is absolutely disheartening though .

I absolutely agree ! Runaways figures are at the very top of my personal wish list !

I would imagine that they would be a tough sell to Legends collectors who are casual fans (or not even fans) of the series, and selling figures of their smaller sizes/statures for $20 each, again, wouldn't make those collectors very happy either, so, IMO, I think that they would work best as a retailer-exclusive box set.

You're review was awesome ! Pretty much any question I had about the figure was covered in the review. I'll definitely be checking out your videos in the future !

I was hoping that we would finally have a definitive version of Spidey with this figure, but I guess that isn't the case .
Sure the Campbell/McFarlane Spidey is an excellent figure, but IMO, he is a little too spindly to be a definitive version.
Looking back at the handful of Spidey figures produced by both Toy Biz and Hasbro, I find it odd that there are only a couple of traditionally-costumed blue & red Spideys that I would actually consider to be good figures.
Still, all flaws aside, this guy is definitely a must-buy for me .

A-Force is going to be an entirely female Avengers team spiraling out of the Secret Wars event. It may very well be the first time I pick up an Avengers book if the line-up is anything close to what is featured on that promo image.

My exact thought as well. If they price it correctly and include a reasonable Old Lace figure it would be considerably more appealing. I kind of expect they would probably fudge it a little bit and use the same mold from Spider-Girl for Nico and Karolina as it seems to be their go to younger female mold now.

Re: A-Force, I believe the main cast are the more towards the front on the cover characters. This will hopefully help our chances of getting a Dazzler figure. If they do it, I REALLY hope they give us roller skates but as accessories to snap on to the shoes. I don't want this to go a barbie clothing route but honestly having rollerskates on the figure by default would make it hell to stand up.

Went to Walmart looking to exchange something, went to see what was in the toy isle...to my amazement found all seven figures from ML Odin wave...grabbed all seven, wallet is hurting, but would be hurting more from scalpers...had to pull trigger...Good luck all!

nice find! I was in a TRU last night and saw the Hawkeye. I didn't get because I already got the figures I wanted from this wave online, but it's good to see these are making it out to retail.

Marvel and Sony have hashed out a deal paving a path that will ultimately bring Spidey into the Marvel Studios movies (obviously for Civil War).

It's a safe bet that Fox will relinquish rights to the X-Men and FF about the same time that pigs fly. Although granted, if the FF reboot tanks they may be more willing to negotiate those specific rights but any negotiation would invariably also probably slide into the realm of the X-Men which I just can't see Fox ever sharing/releasing those rights.

@Nash

I don't have any problem with what Fox has done with the X-men; Hugh and the Fassbender are great in their roles and the action sequences for DoFP were the best I'd seen of any superhero movie (short of GotG). I also don't expect ANY company to give up lucrative Marvel movie rights sold to them in perpetuity (damn Marvel...I've got a bridge to sell you by the way). However, I hope this deal with Sony encourages Fox to be flexible. Fox never cultivated a pulse for the Fantastic Four in the way that they did for the X-men. It's a sticky situation given that even if this next FF movie flops (and any FF after that), Fox understands very well the value of the franchise and will simply sit on it until some studio antes up for whatever price they name. My only point in posting this news was to underscore the concept of "let's make a deal!"...Honestly, I could not care any less about the movies, all I want is a new Surfer fig. Can you say one track mind?...

Whoa, the reveal of the Marvel Select Zombie Sabretooth. (I'm not even sure how that works, powers wise to be honest, but okay) I really like that, maybe I can use it has a partially healed 'tooth and go from there.

Just think of it as an infection that his healing factor could not compensate for and go with it.

Mando, this is the worst Sauron custom ever done, and you should ship it to me immediately so that I can dispose of it properly... into my collection. =)

Great job on the custom Mando!

BBTS needs to hurry up and ship my Odin case. I keep stopping in stores looking for them instead heh. Meijer and Wal-Mart by me got all the cheap stuff the other night but no Legends in their shipments. Meijer is staged for the Odin and Spidey waves though so hopefully soon....

@TheBlueMarvel
It would be nice for one that combines the articulation and magnetic surfboard from the Toybiz version with the better overall look of the Hasbro version. A guy can dream.

You know I love my old Surfer, Kirathis. Having said that, it's time for a redraft of good old Norrin. That new metallic luster paint, swappable hands, new board, and new larger buck would all make for a stellar Surfer. I agree that the magnetic feet, along with board featuring a metal strip, should be carried over...let's hope together!

...still awesome, but he needs more love and a re-draft would be greatly appreciated.

Just got my first Marvel Select figure, Venom. I am not really into collecting 6" Marvel that much, mainly because it's easier to have a lot more of the Universe sized figures in a display. I do make exceptions though for favorites, hence I have the new legends Nova, Carnage, Star-lord, and Rocket Raccoon on display. Getting to the point of this post; I have had the symbiote blast Venom Toy Biz did years ago as my only decent Venom toy for so long and I don't feel he physically aged well enough to join my display, so I got select Venom here. Overall very happy, it's my new favorite Venom toy. I do actually kind of like the toy biz head better than the select's tongue head equivalent.

I'm at a loss... Who is the young lady up front who looks like she's made of stars.. Also who is the girl in front kneeling down with a stick of some sort in her hand?

The star lady is a new character. I forgot her name. The girl with the staff is Nico otherwise known as Sister Grim from the Runaways.
