And that's why these waves aren't going to retail. Stores don't buy stock so you can wait for clearance, combined with no movie or cartoon support and it's not worth it for stores to stock the products. It's the same reason mattel moved MotU origins online, and why we're seeing McFarlane move stuff online and hike the prices (not that you could pay me to buy a McFarlane product)

Well if the figures were actually worth $25, I'd buy them for $25. Blade and Clea are not $25 toys. They don't have any alternate heads, Clea has single jointed arms, Blade has pinned joints, Clea's accessories are just two energy things we have already gotten, Blade doesn't even come with his crossbow gun, Clea's not the version I want, etc.

I'm not saying you have to buy them. I'm saying "waiting for clearance " tells Target and Wal-Mart that they aren't going to make a profit on these products and if they're not going to make money why are they going to stock them?

Sorry, I was trying to say they aren't selling well in stores because they have priced people out at $25 when they come with the same stuff, or lack of, they did when they were $20. The figures may be higher for Hasbro to produce, but the customer doesn't give a crap about that. Inflation has just gotten way too out of hand in the last two years, not just on toys, but on everything. A local restaurant my wife and I love going to is getting ridiculous. Three years ago, the meal I got was $15 AND included a take home pasta. Now, it's $28 and you have to pay $6 more if you want a take home dish. WTF?

Would you mind sharing your Turbo recipe? Love the two pack idea, especially as Marvel Legends, if they were to make a Turbo, they would probably make the Michiko* version of Turbo and not the Mike version of Turbo (and they’re probably not making a version of either, much to my regret).

*i hated that they called her Mickey as Michiko is just as easy to say as Mickey is.

It's basically the retro card Widow body with fists from the 3 pack Warbird. I used the bracers from the Warlock wave Polaris and the turbines are from the Build a Wing MCU Vulture. The boot cuffs are actually wrist pieces from a Thor figure, Her head was a DC Direct Huntress that came in a 2 pack with Power Girl

back in the early or mid 2000s, Toybiz had some decent Marvel Legends where every figure had a build a figure piece from Annihilus to a Brood.

the main figures while they were tall and lanky looking or whatever at least some figures got made like X-Men Last Stand Beast, Affleck Daredevil, couple of good looking Wolverines etc

these days for current Hasbro Marvel Legends you have to wait a long time to see what Hasbro pulls out of their butthole but you have to deal with another round of Avengers movie figures re-releases that and the constant making of Spider-Man over and over

at least Hasbro is slowly pumping out Age of Apocalypse X-Meb stuff but they still cant even make a proper mid 1980s Austrialian outback white british lady Betsy Braddock/Psylocke figure where she wore fashion type clothes

The annihilus and brood waves were both Hasbro. Also the Outback Psylocke we're most likely to get is going to be the purple armor and cloak, maybe the pink frou frou costume she wore during the Mutant Massacre, but I swear by my pretty floral bonnet if the box doesn't say "white British lady Betsy" I'm gonna riot



And while I want to finish the outback era costumes I would happily take Betsy in one of these costumes too

Gosh yes, they really threw us for a loop for the First Appearance Psylocke being Lady Mandarin. I'm sure they know that the fanbase is really wanting the Outback Armor, so it's a weird choice they went with something that appeared in 1 story and a few astral sequences.

I'd really like the Krakoan era Betsy as Captain Britain, but the AO one is definitely my priority. Absolutely agree if we get another Betsy Braddock it better be in her original body.

I'm not surprised it was Lady Mandarin given it was a Wolverine focused 2 pack, that said, Lilandra's arms and legs on the 97 Goblin Queen torso would pretty much be Betsy's Outback Armor, they just need a head and cape
