Why don't you just go start a mafex thread?

I'm down for getting Banshee for sure. Probably Daken as well. Jean....well, I may get her if I see her but I'm not all that excited about that particular color scheme. If it had been the red and yellow? That would be an instanta buy for sure.
But hey...something for everyone as I said. It's also amazing the amount of bitching on the youtube comments about Banshee being a recolor of a figure we already have. Yeah...we have it...from 18 years ago. Hasbro's FIRST wave, where they were still on a huge learning curve. It was definitely time for a redo. Who's the tease for? My thought was She-Hulk, but we just got her

The thing that stuck out for me when they were talking about Jean was the "more Target exclusive X-Men this year" swear to god if Rachel or Feral are a Target exclusive.... Who's the tease for? My thought was She-Hulk, but we just got her |

Maybe more figures that are throwback references to 90's Toybiz figures? Imagine it - Exodus! Ahab! Gideon! Trevor Fitzroy! Comcast! Tusk! Killspree...okay to be fair the last three are probably not wanted by many at all but good god Toybiz made sooooo many random Z-level figures in the 90's. It was good times.

What about Quark? Don't we all need a Vin Diesel cosplaying goat man?

LOL @ the last three. Also reminds me of such All Stars as Krule, Slayback, & Commando. Not saying I wouldn't buy some of these....I might have even had some of them back then. Comcast was such a dork. I'd actually want a Genesis and Tusk. I'd also consider grabbing Phantazia if they made her.

In all honesty I would buy very few of these figures, but we're probably not going to have to worry about them too much. Then again Marvel has dug deep with selections before so you never know. Exodus and Ahab stand out to me as the only big name there, Trevor Fitzoy would have a chance. oh, they did do a Deathbird in the Ninja line, which is also rumored - the character, not anything Ninja related. Okay okay, let's see then, I found a check list (this is gonna be great LOL) Exodus Trevor Fitzroy Tusk Raza Kylun Senyaka Ahab Brood Kane Forearm Gideon GW Bridge Krule Grizzly Quark X-Treme Com Cast Killspree Slayback Warstar Genesis Eric The Red Shard Cameron Hodge Deathbird Joseph Deathbird and Exodus are the only two I'd definitely buy, but I've bolded a few others that I would consider. Damn..how could I forget about him. I had that one as a kid. He came with some awesome guns. Also just thought about GW Bridge and Grizzly. Everybody was out here getting a figure. Think of the royalty checks!

I'm pretty sure he's hanging out with X-Treme. The "Third" Summers brother. I don't remember if Slayback made it into any of the movies, but he was prime material for it. His only claim to fame is being in that first Deadpool Mini-Series, along with Comcast

There were so many female figures that didn't get a 90's Toybiz figure - Syrin, Moonstar, Boom-Boom, KITTY PRYDE, Rachael Grey.... Then again, if a character did get a figure it was often a cheap repaint - remember they used the Rogue figure for Polaris and the Jean figure for Psylocke. And the weird hair poses on the Jean and Psylocke too. |

Huh? Why would I start a Mafex thread for saying the Maximum Legends line should be called Mafex Legends?

Everybody if they were a male character. Out of those we don't have something of in Legends form the only females are Deathbird and Shard.

From that list you posted I'd buy Exodus, Tusk, Senyaka, Ahab, X-Treme, & Genesis. Maybe Trevor Fitzroy & Cameron Hodge. Had most of those as a kid, still have a small collection including Wolverine's Jeep

I've been looking forward to an updated Todd McFarlane spider-man, though concerned about the price...
Might get adam warlock , others seem skippable... I think penance would fit nicely in the mini comic line |

I'm disappointed in the reveals. These are my thoughts:
No Way Home Electro should've had a normal Max Dillon alternate head (and I was the only one hoping it was Electro in his green-and-yellow jacket, even though I knew it wouldn't be). X-Factor Jean is a Target exclusive and not in her red-and-yellow outfit. PASS. The Maximum line Spider-Man would've been an instant buy if it was a Silver Age John Romita Sr. art-based version with the chest's spider legs out to the sides. Now I'm waiting on the price before if I decide to buy or not. I also hope the rumored Maximum line Hulk isn't over eight inches tall as previously reported, as that'd be way too big for my taste. The mini-comic wave isn't doing much for me. Something about Banshee's cape seems off, but maybe it's how it's photographed? The cape on the blue-and-yellow suit version of Banshee looked better. I can't explain it. Adam Warlock looks fantastic, but I'm not sure if I need him. Everyone else is a pass. The dumbbells made me think of She-Hulk instantly. I'm guessing it's She-Hulk in her Fantastic Four uniform. Maybe it could be for a new figure of the Thing too. The dumbbells could be for the Maximum line's Hulk figure, but I'm still going with She-Hulk on this one. |

a Maximum/Ultimate edition Hulk will probably be a new Grey Hulk that snot in the stupid Patch tux. regular fugly face Grey Hulk that I remember his big mean fugly face on the covers back then.
nice that the new Maxium super Posey Spider-man will finally have a tingly spider sense accessory but the neck is really weird where its way too poseable. I don't mind the return of the Toybiz toe articulation but the neck? jeez Louise lol |

as for the new Daken figure, some of you people previously posted in here calling it a mohawk Wolverine.
Just where have the rest of you people been for the past decade or so to not know about Daken from the X-Men/Wolverine comics from years ago? I never read any of the newer stuff that thad Daken in the comics but I am aware of him because of his weird claws and his arm tattoo. Id rather have a figure made of that one young JImmy Wolverine that teamed up with the Young X-Men taken out of their timeline. Wasn't that young Jimmy a little different than regular Wolverine? the younger Jimmy had a faster healing factor or something |

There seem to be likeness rights issues with most of the Sony villains. The Vulture, Mysterio, Venom and Carnage are all exclusively masked. Even the basic 5-inch Shocker from Homecoming has a mask he didn’t even wear in the film rather than showing the actor’s face. Green Goblin and Doc Ock are the only ones with unmasked heads.

I got emails saying that Spider-Man Unlimited and Chameleon would ship soon. But I'm dubious because Pulse still lists them as April. And they were doing this before Christmas with the Secret Wars wave, where they'd send a shipping soon email but nothing would happen.

I don't see why not since she isn't even up for preorder yet. Thats probably just an early production sample.
