I would be curious to know what their profit margin is on Legends. I have said for a long time that I feel Legends is more of a collector market than a general consumer market but I have no tangible proof. The $20+ price tag drives heavily drives that opinion as I have a hard time picturing most parents spending that much on a figure for their kid but maybe that is just me.

As for making more money, that's debatable. I suspect they may sell more units overall but we would also see a noticeable drop in the quality and articulation of the figures. Forget about interchangeable parts like we have seen lately.

I always thought the Legends line could benefit from being at least $5 cheaper, but I'm not so sure. Are there really that many collectors on the fence that would feel that much better about spending on Legends if they were $5 cheaper?

1. Throw left hooks
2. Do ab crunches
3. Yell loudly while doing ab crunches\throwing left hooks..

If any fellow Arkerz can help him walk...or throw a right Jab..please let me know..

Thanks.!!!

*EDIT*

Found a little more information on the upcoming X-Men Wave: supposed to be revealed at NYTF and out around the time the movie comes out (which is not surprising.

X-MEN & INHUMANS Join HASBRO's MARVEL LEGENDS Toy Line | Newsarama.com

One thing I wanted to point out : The X-Wave will have “about 7 figures” and will be announced at ToyFare in February and hit shelves around the time of X-Men: Apocalypse but will not feature any cinematic versions of characters."

To me that means we could get versions of Psylocke, Cyclops, Apocalypse, et al, just not based on their cinematic look. That doesn't rule out the BAF not being Apocalypse.

Honestly though I hope we get more never done before figures than revamps (the Rouge was a needed revamp though so I wont' complain about that.) I've listed what I'd like to see several times but I will consider this wave a win to me as long as we get Polaris....even if the entire rest of the wave is revamps. Of course, if we don't get Polaris I will be rather disheartened, but it will be what it will be.

I am so ready for the news on this wave.

What's the BAF I wonder. They're saying it's their favorite part. I'm excited!

As long as they throw Polaris in there they can do as many Jim Lee X-Men as they want and I'll be good with it.

Agreed as well as the 3.75 how much they make off of those since the price for those at retail have gone up lately.

I ordered the Yellow Daredevil off Wlagreen's site the other day. It arrived 2 days later. If you don't mind paying shipping, it's a great way to go.

I've been watching the website for days and all it says is sold out online, not available in stores.

Did you not check to see what stores have it in stock online?
Every store around here has an end of aisle display full of Avengers 3 packs, the TMNT 5 pack, the WWE 4 horsemen pack and a few other things.

Strange, I tried to look for the pack on the Target website and it is gone. IF you can find the SKU (I can post a shot of the barcode if you need it) then they can check the DCPI in store and tell you any stores in the area that have it. Or if you get the dcpi you can look yourself on brickseek.

EDIT: Found the numbers.
DCPI - 087-06-1200

Marvel Avengers Target Exclusive Legends 3-Pack ... : Target

Target Inventory Checker

Go to brickseek (the link that says target inventory checker) and plug in the dcpi and your area code an you can see who has them in stock and how many.

Finally found the target three pack. If anyone's in middle TN and interested they had a full endcap last night at the Hendersonville Target (it's a few rows down from the Marvel section). I have not seen even an empty place for them anywhere else.

I know Hasbro hasn't done an APOC, but I'll bang the drum again against it. He said "you've already seen figures like Rogue that we didn't release and that's not exciting, so we came up with a new Rogue". Based on that statement alone I would assume the BAF is a new figure. I'd be very disappointed in APOC as the BAF. Strong Guy or Sauron would make me jump around like a little kid.

Thanks for the link !! I even have a friend who's brother works at target he told me, he's never seen it before....

Speaking of target. Anybody notice their price for legends is $20.59 ? Maybe it's just a florida thing.
