Yeah, the Daken/Gagan and D.Phoenix/Cyke 2-packs are part of the standalone wave that Hasbro mentioned in a Q&A a few months ago.

If the next theme is indeed Civil War, I wonder which of the comics they'll pack with the figures. The main story has 7 issues, so if that's the pack-in, we could be looking at 8 more figures (minus the 6 mentioned in the OP).

EDIT: 14 total figures, that is. 6 already mentioned, plus 8 more.

Incorporating the Gigantic Battles into the comic series would be pretty cool for the 7th issue. It would also help tie the lines together and give the GB line an additional marketing push.

It would also be a neat way to continue BAF figures without the parts-collecting bit.

EDIT: Speculation thread here.

I definitely would like to get the Sentry/Spider-Man and Venom/Daken packs, that will fill holes in my Mighty, Secret and Dark Avengers collections. I can hardly wait to see more.

Hasbro mentioned Civil war packs earlier this year.

Lame. Civil War packs would be nothing but repaints or Battle Damaged. Ugh. If they're Civil War, they will just clog shelves IMHO.

If it's ASX Wolverine we might be getting a new mold, so I'm crossing my fingers.

It will be in a 5-pack: him, three New Warriors remolds (with "charred" decos), and Nitro w/removable hand. o.O

HA. Civil War just needs to be a really depressing set of comic packs, like hole-in-chest Bill Foster and random dead villains Punisher killed.
