I just wanted to pop in for a minute and say hi. I've been a long time fan of comic books and things like Star Wars, Transformers, and GI Joe. I don't read comics any more but realized I miss a part of my childhood. I decided to start collecting some toys of characters and things that I used to like. I ordered the Marvel Select Juggernaut through Amazon last night and can't wait to get him in a few days. I'm already looking for some other pieces I can add as I gradually build my collection. I have around 40 original Star Wars Figures from the 70's and early 80's. (all opened and heavily played with of course) I'm not sure if I am going to keep them or maybe try and move them and get a carded Star Wars figure that I would like instead.

I look forward to meeting some new people here and talking about all kinds of cool toys.

Welcome Selaf,

You're in good company. I resolved initially to keep a bunch of classic Star Wars stuff until I discovered the Black Series, and then it was off to the races again to get new versions of my favorite characters. It's a bit of a dry well right now - between waves, with some weaker characters - but you can still find some of the best from previous waves in the secondary market. Same with Marvel and Joe.

I'm amazed by the demand for classic Star Wars stuff. I posted a few figures along with the old plastic suitcase and got something like 20 inquiries within a matter of days. Of course, I was only asking $5 apiece, but still...!

Anyway, welcome.
