Just to set some records straight...and I apologize if this is repeated information. The figures are customs - not fake, and never intended to fool anyone, just to get people talking. I'm not the maker, but I have had alot of contact with the customizer and he's made a Doom specifically for me to give away on my site. He took the pictures at Walmart and no one batted an eye. They weren't a returned item or a scam. He put them on the pegs, took the picture, and took them back off the pegs. He's a really nice guy that has a crazy passion for collecting Marvel figures and he only just started customizing. Based on that, I think he's doing a fine job. Strange and Doom were his first figures to be made public and I think some of his first customs ever.

Wait so your saying that he put them on the pegs snapped the pic then took it off the peg...no way, that's preposterous! That'd be impossible!

He didn't intend to fool anyone but snapped a pic of a custom on a retail peg? Sounds like someone trying to fool some people to me.

it'd been funnier if he was arrested for "shoplifting". i guess it works in order to drive up hype over a custom about to be sold on ebay but to rile up almost every forum i visit for the lulz is kind of a trollish dick move.
