New Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales Minimate

This Miles Morales character is really being pushed. First time I've seen a design for mini-mates shown as opposed to seeing the finished product.

It'll be interesting to see how this character develops. Is this the Ultimate universe's Ben Reilly, or is he here to stay? I haven't read the issue yet, but I do like the costume. I wonder how long it will be til we get a figure in the Marvel Universe or Spider-Man line. I do like this Minimate. Depending on who he is packaged with, I will probably get it...that is as long as it shows up in Canada too.

The design sheets are used time to time in the public. That was how they showed off the MvC3 minimates too, among many others in the past.

So far he's proving pretty popular with the digital sales reaching ungodly numbers. This is why I think the sudden rush for a minimate happened. They have a quick turnaround with theirs as opposed to hasbro. Yup, he's here to stay. The ultimate universe is the only part of marvel that has 'real time' and real changes that stick. Death is permanent in the Ultimate universe unless it has a backdoor reasoning out of it. They've even offed wolverine just to replace him with his kid that the Hudson's have been raising.

He'll probably show up next year in MU or the Spider-man movie/comic line.
