Yay, Professor X!!!
With beast, Jubilee, and now astonishing wolverine, all I'm left for needing from X-Men is Rogue/Legacy, Ultimate Shroud, Ultimate Jean Grey, X-Force Wolfsbane, Fantomex, Uncanny X-Force archangel, UXF Psylocke, and Emma Frost! Then I'll be done with my X-Men team!

Here's hoping unmasked X-23 is planned too, because I'm finally starting to hit that point where I can be uber picky per waves now!

Just waiting on Red She-Hulk, She-Hulk(YAY!), FF SPidey (YAY!), Modern Quasar, Rom, Nova Prime(YAY!), Scarlet Witch(Sorta yay!), Black Cat, Anti-Venom, Flash Venom, Quicksilver(Yay), Wonderman(yay!), Gamorra, Modern Madrox, Messiah Complex Lady Deathstrike, Academy X/New X-Men X-23, Surge, Rockslide, Mercury, and Mockingbird.

Once all those are out (the yay's being what's coming) plus the x-men ones I'm waiting on to be made still, I can focus on just the random villian or movie figures and not worry about buying figures left and right unless it's just something that's freaking cool!

So 10 out of 33 isn't bad at all! That just leaves me 23 (...) more to wait on still. =D (Counting Unmasked x-23, but not counting the DHawk/Talon variant/running change which I will get too since he has a new head!)

Still liking the new figure selection here... Is that supposed to be a chair for Kang, or for Xavier?

It's Xaviers hover chair from the 90s X-Men comics and 90s toon. Looks like it has a spot for legs, so you can also have walking/modern professor X too. (Toy biz era didn't mold the legs so he was stuck in the chair to lower the palstic amount and make him the same cost as the other figures.)

I'm curious if it'll be a BAF chair, a deluxe pack, a comic pack, or just one badass single carded figure accessory.

That Professor X Chair is MU scale!

Is that amazing Viper MU or ML?

I'll be sorta pissed if she's MU, as I went crazy on my custom of her, but it's agreat sculpt!

She's ML, uses the Masque body.

Also about the slides.

Nova Prime! Puck! Blackbolt can't be far behind! Black Knight! Vampire Jubilee! Professor X! Potential Suit tony stark?!? Ultimate Hawkeye!!! Ultimate THOR!!! All around just yummy.

That's about all that's from my buy list from this though.
Still waiting on mockingbird, Young Avengers Hawkeye, and Red She-hulk.
Still, hasbro has got me buying this line next year lock stock and barrel. Especially glad for Alpha Flight and MI13 plus my ultimates roster to be expanding.

So here's some good news...

After SDCC and NYCC we have seen the first 4 waves of MU single packs for 2012. The good news is there is not a single Wolverine or Captain America among them! There are however 2 Spidermen, 1 Hulk, and 1 Thor (unless you count Beta Ray Bill as a Thor too but I don't).

Of the 20 figures in the first 4 waves 14 of them are new characters that haven't had any version of a figure for them in the line so far! Not too shabby.

Not meaning to beat this into the ground, but the 4" Avengers movie Cap does not have torso articulation. This figure is the same one that was shown at SDCC. I got a close-up look at it and noticed that the Cap, Iron Man, and Thor shown didn't have torso articulation. I brought it up to one of the Hasbro designers, and he said they cut that POA out for a pair of reasons.

The costume designs for those 3 all feature lines along their torso which would help hide joint cuts and be natural points for articulation. But there isn't any there. It's too bad too, as I feel it's a step back. What you're seeing on the Cap figure is a shadow for the blue portion of his torso which is raised higher than the lower portion of his torso. But the torso is one solid piece. No articulation. If you think it's there, you're gonna be rather disappointed come March 1st.

I like all the stuff shown. I'm a little disappointed that the only new Team Pack shown is just the repaint Avengers. Also disappointed no new Gigantic Battles were shown. The lack of Ares is also odd, since he would finish off the Dark Avengers team.
