Just wanted to spread the word on this, the Kickstarter for OMFG series 2 is going on here:
OMFG! Series 2 by George Gaspar — Kickstarter

Basically a $10 pledge will pre-order the regular flesh/pink colored set of series 2. And if you don't know about OMFG, it's in the style of M.U.S.C.L.E. etc, but all of the designs for the figures are done by different artists on the October Toys forums and then voted on by that community. In fact, for you creative types, submissions for Series 3 are going on right now:
OctoberToys.com • View topic - OMFG Series 3 - Design Submissions

Personally I can't wait to have like 30 different mini-figs done by 30 or so different artists.
My design & sculpt, Cry-Borg, got voted in for series 2, here's the original wax sculpt (a little under 2" tall):

Grats on Cry Borg!

This is a great toyline and everyone who like minifigures should support it. I own series one in at least 8 different colors so far.

I'm going to pledge also, is there a way I can submit a design as well? It would be a dream come true for me to see a character I created when I was a kid in toy form.

I don't have a working computer at the moment and it seems like I need Photoshop to fit the image in a template, so i guess I can't really participate after all unfortunately

Cool stuff! Glad this thread is getting some love over here! (And not just from people who are already a part of October Toys' forum - hey T16 and ersico!)
I believe the deadline for submissions is the end of Aug, so if you can get access to a computer by then you'll be all set.
I bet we can work something out for a trade ersico, if the kickstarter gets funded apparently I'll have some APs I'll need to figure out what to do with.

The voting is now open for the character selection for October Toy's Outlandish Mini Figure Guys series 3!

You can vote for your 5 favorite designs on the forums here: OctoberToys.com • View topic - OMFG Series 3 - The Voting Thread - VOTING ENDS Sept 29th

The top 5 designs will be produced as toys! Voting ends September 29th!

Please vote for designs you want to buy and support the line!

Thanks!

Shameless self promotion: I have 3 designs in there. #94 Coughin' Coffin and #96 Underbed are my original characters. Coughin' Coffin has been sculpted by Ed Gein. Underbed will be sculpted if he is selected. I also had a hand in designing #125 Ten-Can. The character concept was by Richard Oceans, I did the design drawing, and Ed Gein sculpted the prototype.
