Love the villain box art. Sorta related… my local Walmarts have been clearancing out the playmates carded retro figures. Good time to snag them if your store has any left.

I love the fact they're reissuing vintage figures. I hope they continue with this and do more vehicles and playsets. I'd die for a technodrome.

Me too. I wish they'd re-issue single releases of April, Splinter, and Shredder so I can get them to go with the Walmart re-issues of the 4 turtles from last year.

Wingnut & Screwloose weren't even marketed as villains in this line, they were heroes.

They were villains in the cartoon.

I had to look it up! I recall them being good guys in the toys, too. More of those wacky disposable minor characters.

Good stuff here, dig the villains set. The vintage figures are way over valued considering how many of them were produced back in the day. It's great to have new toys that aren't leeching plasticizer & don't cost stupid money.

If the villains set are on cards as close to identical as their originals back in the day, I may get it and keep them sealed.

Is it just me or do the Toon Turtles look like they have some sort of metallic sheen on them? Like Leo looks silver more than blue.

The preorder for the sewer heroes was up at Walmart but it's now sold out. No signs of the other sets yet.

I wonder if that means the Toon Turtles will appear for cheaper. Interested in the set but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
