Oregon actually, check your Fred Meyer's, that's where I found these.

Tiberius 05-20-2012 04:38 PM

These all look bad. What is happening?!

D00MTR0N 05-20-2012 07:21 PM

great,more garbage.

Shin Densetsu 05-21-2012 07:44 AM

Imo you can kind of tell how a movie will be by how much Hasbro pimps out the respective toyline for it(if they have the license). So....being as that is, I think the movie might suck.

These toys seem like a step back from the Spiderman line already on shelves...which itself was a step back...

trebleshot 05-21-2012 07:57 AM

I think Hasbro might be hedging their bets with this toy line. Based on the ones I saw on the shelves, I don't think they have too much confidence in it being a blockbuster and moving product.

Having said that, I'm seriously considering getting those Jumpstarters throwbacks simply for the nostalgia factor. Too bad the only place I saw them was at TRU and they wanted more than I was willing to pay. Maybe when they show up at Walmart or Target, the pricing will be more to my liking.

BigHanksCustoms 05-21-2012 08:11 AM

Aside from the super posable, those jumpstarters are the only thing I'm grabbing.

Like you said, for the G1 nostalgia factor. I'll use them as base fodder for updated Twintwist and Topspin.

bmorr 05-21-2012 08:21 AM

Im not buying a single thing from this line. Not for over 10 a piece. Im not even a spidey fan lol. I was also kinda appaled when i saw what my local target was charging for GI Joe figs as well. 10.99.

Optimus Vader 05-21-2012 08:30 AM

Is the Super Poseable Spidey the only collector worthy figure in this line, that we know of? And can anyone who picked him up post pictures? Is he really articulated, or is he "super poseable" in regards to this line?

Dr.Strange still out articulates him......

Exodus 05-21-2012 10:30 AM

The RC climber kind of looks interesting, when it becomes 10 bucks on clearance I'll pick it up. But ya the whole line looks cartoony.

The one on Interstate in NE Portland, that's on the MAX line. Nice to meet another PDX Arker by the way.

Exodus 05-21-2012 11:23 AM

Here's some more stuff that they're putting out in this line.

Peteparker 05-21-2012 11:54 AM

I have extras of everything in the first wave if anyone's interested in anything. PM me

Nexodusrex 05-21-2012 01:52 PM

Their Crotchs are so.......Mattel. I want that sexy Hasbro crotch thats in GIJoe and MU. If they are really worried about Price when it comes to our Toy Crotchs, why dont they do to Marvel what they do with GIjoe. Metal Crotchs. same swivel, but metal.

Ninjinister 05-21-2012 04:42 PM

I will have to check my local FM. They usually don't get stuff until way late, though.

baddasspk 05-21-2012 05:50 PM

found them at a Walmart in PA 2 nights ago.

r3v3n63 05-21-2012 07:16 PM

Found them at Fred Meyer in Vancouver WA. about 2 days ago (Saturday) as well, it's been a while since I've been to the store and I didn't know that their release was news. I thought they had been out a while already... Oops.

Best beginning to a post, ever! However, I also wish all of my action figures used the GI Joe "crotch model".

The FM by home has them. It was cool to see them up close but they're so.. underwhelming.

Ninjinister 05-21-2012 08:19 PM

There's a few in the line I might pick up. I've already got the manga Spidey on its way cheaper than in stores though.

Tacoma is terrible for getting new toys. I can count on one hand how many times something I was interested in showed up at a decent time in any store.

Bubba304 05-21-2012 09:23 PM

found these tonight at walmart, picked up Doc Octopus, also came across the new GI Joe retaliation figures, got Cobra Commander, Cobra Para trooper and A kick ass GI Joe infantry trooper. Was also lucky to get Thanos/warlock 2 pack!!!

Why would they? It's just more of the same. How many times do people need to buy the same figures? They've already done Spider-Man to death.

PROVOST 05-22-2012 02:33 AM

This line has started to show up here in Australia and have to say the figures are below par for the dollars asked for them ($15.64 here)
