Shinkenger custom figures
 

Hey all,

These are Shinkenger custom figures I made from this year's Super Sentai series, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. I used Power Rangers Jungle Fury Sound Fury bodies, Apoxie sculpt, and acrylic paints to make these. This is my first attempt using real sculpting clay and paints, so I'm happy with how they turned out. I'm planning to make their samurai swords next. :)

wow, awesome job!!! I'm still upset that these will never come to the states...

Thanks! Yeah, that's one of the reasons I made these figures. I actually started in March or April, then took several months off the project haha. I think seeing Bandai go for MMPR in 2010 instead of making toys based off of Shinkenger motivated me to finish these. I also like the Jungle Fury sculpts - the RPM ones have less articulation, and the new MMPR ones are tiny in comparison.
