Questions on the Batman Legacy Edition figs
 

Thanks to some Target clearances, this week I picked up some of the "Batman Legacy Edition" 6 inch figures that have been out for a year or so. I managed to grab Catwoman, The Joker, Mr Freeze, and the two pack of "ski mask" Batman and Detective Gordon from the movie. I was looking around online trying to figure out what else is in this line, but because there isn't an all-encompassing site like yojoe.com or the tfwiki, its hard to place whats new and not out and what has already passed.

So I really have two points here: What else came out in this line that I missed? I know I saw a Catman figure at some point, and some online digging leads me to believe there were two Batman figs issued that have now sold through... Am I missing anything else in this line?

Secondly, there's a bunch of Arkam City figures in similar packaging (that I see lined up with the above mentioned figures in Toyfair 2012 coverage) that I've never seen. Are those new for this year and not out yet? (or barely out/online only so far)? Or are they from a previous year and have already left retail as well?


And though I said I had two questions, I remembered a third: Were there any store exclusives?

If there's a good database out there for DC/Batman figures, a link to it would be awesome (I can't seem to find one), or if someone who knows can fill me in...

There was indeed a Catman. There is also a Batgirl, the old Adam West-style Batman with a K-Mart exclusive version that includes Batmite, and a Catwoman in a purple dress.

As far as the Arkham City Legacy figures go, they've been out for a couple of months now I believe. In addition to Nightwing and Harley Quinn, there are a couple of two packs: Batman/Two-Face and Robin/Sick Joker.

**Toys R Us also had an exclusive repaint of the series 1 2pack Arkham City Batman, with blue instead of black and a yellow oval on the batsymbol on his chest, single-packesd to coincide with the release of the video game.

I still haven't seen AC Nightwing and Harley. Everything else has come and gone around here. Wal-Mart still has some of the two packs but I forget which ones specifically other than both versions of the AC Batman and Catwoman.

Must be nice. . .I've never seen the Arkham Bat/Cat 2pack in the wild. Nor Harley.

But I did score an Arkham Nightwing for like 9.68 today.

saw the silver age batgirl yesterday at walmart for $9 on clearance. package was DESTROYED

Someone else PM'd me the link to dcclassics.com which has a full list of everything classics related (though the "first appearance" batman seems to be missing?) and after some digging I found that I could pick up the Walmart 5 pack with Superman, Batman, Luthor, Two Face, & purple catwoman and get just about everything I'd want from this line (as I'm not a huge comic person, so most of the figs are obscure to me). All I have to do is track down a Riddler at some point and I've got a nice collection of Batman figs & superman and lex too. So thanks guys!

Sounds to me that for an essentials collection of Batman you'd still need a Robin and a Bane. Nightwing too maybe. They also made Scarecrow, Clayface, Penguin, Harley Quinn, Batman Beyond, Man-Bat, Azrael, Azrael Batman, Creeper, and Killer Croc. And they will be releasing Poison Ivy and Black Mask. There may be others I missed.

Just depends how deep you want to go.

Yeah, I would like a Penguin and Robin too, but the Penguin goes for like $30 on ebay so I'll wait for a re-issue of some sort. I'll likely grab a robin sooner or later too, but he's likely to come out again sooner or later too.

I know it seems high, but $30 is a great price for Penguin. It is a really great figure, and I'd recommend it to anyone trying to put together a Batman collection.

And after looking through completed auctions, it looks like he really goes for $12-18, when not a "buy it now" so I'll probly set up a saved search for him.
