Amazing Spider-Man Ultra-Poseable Spider-Man

Here's my quick review of the Movie Series Ultra-Poseable Spider-Man. Has a few minor issues, but overall I'm impressed with it.

so its pretty much the sdcc spiderman

dieselboy m 05-28-2012 04:41 PM

This one's quite different, based on the new movie.

SH0CKWAVE 05-28-2012 04:53 PM

Sweet review- very fair and to the point.
How are the wrists tough? what kind of motion do they have?

BigHanksCustoms 05-28-2012 07:27 PM

Saw two today, they actually look great even with the new movie style costume.

I had to stash them, Jason call me or pm me sometime tpmorrow if you want the location. I'll pock 'em up when I get back in town otherwise.

I hate this figure. It'd be amazing if they broadened the shoulders, got rid of the costume texture sans webbing, and added a slight wash to flesh out the web more.

Body sculpt seems to be okay, not sure if I like the head perched where it is.

Thanks for the review, it holds true to the super poseable aspect.

figure looks fantastic other than the iron man 2 style hips.

The wrists are are both hinged like the SDCC exclusive one, and they work great. :) Kinda baffled as to why he doesn't have at least one "thwip" hand though...

I understand your complaints, and I actually agree with all those points. But honestly compared to any one of the other Spider-man movie figures in this line this is the best one hands down (imo) Maybe the Select or ML versions will be be even better though...

They hips on mine actually move more like the Avengers movie figure hips with great forwards, backwards and in/out motion. Don't pass this figure up if you see him! (feel free to pass up every other movie Spidey though, lol)

usagent27 05-30-2012 09:10 AM

can his hands be changed out?

DogFashionDisco 05-30-2012 11:39 AM

Thats the one Spidey I haven't seen at retail. This figure at least lives up to the amount of movement you would want to get with a character like Spiderman.
