help with a toy from the 80s
 

I have been trying to remember a toy I had as a kid for months. Unfortunately the figure I had is long gone and I don't have any pictures.
From what I remember it was a green skinned monster with purple clothing molded on. The face kinda reminded me of Swamp Thing. I think the body was made of rubber or something similar and was sticky. I think it was 5 or 6 inches tall. The whole gimmick was you could pull his body parts off and reattach it. I remember there was a commercial for the toy too. A friend of mine suggested Stretch Armstrong but its not that.
This is everything I remember. I think the toy came out around 1983 or 1984. If this sounds familiar to anyone please let me know. Thanks.

I was thinkin Toxie too... But the pulling parts off and re-attaching them has me stumped.

Found it finally, They were called Manglors. The one I had was called Manglord.
