amazing spiderman game!
 

so i bought the spiderman game the other day and knowing it got mixed reviews some good some bad, i just want to say that i really do enjoy the game alot,its fun fast and beating the shit out of people in crazy awsome ways is fun as hell, some of the moves spidey does on this game made me gasp and was kind of shock of some of the moves.. and the boss fights arent that bad.. all in all i think its a fun game that alot of spidey fans would enjoy and it has almost the same style of arker city batman, so i really dont think thats a bad thing :)

I bought this game too and I like it. I do have my gripes though.

Likes:

Combat is fluid, moreso than previous games
Spidey looks amazing and the voice acting for him is great.
swinging through open ended city
Collectible digital comic books!


Gripes:

-The opening cinematic scene tried too hard to imitate the recent Batman games and the graphics were glitchy
-Swinging is way too simplified for my taste in comparison to Spider-man 2 (current staple for spidey games). Just hold the button down and it swings for you.
-once you save one infected citizen its pretty much the same thing over and over, but that hasn't changed much since SM2
-B list villains at best. Rhino, Scorpion, Iguana, spider slayers and that rat thing I'm not familiar with.

Definitely interested in this despite it's mediocre reviews. It's been awhile since I've played a good spiderman game. Shame I can't get it for my old PSP. The thing is basically obsolete now for new games.

The more I play it the more fun its been getting for me. I like all the comic collecting to and am growing to like the web rush system more. I do miss a full spider sense mode but that really would have made it like one of the Batman Arkham games with the detective mode.

Combat is very fun in this compared to past games I've played.

Got this from Gamefly on release day. It's a decent game. It's almost a great game. But the open world swinging is the best since Spider-Man 2. It's also easily the best part of the game. I just collected all 700 comic pages.

The story mode is only okay so far. They kinda killed the fun by continually confining you to small spaces, which limits the great swinging aspects of the open world roaming. The combat itself is also pretty weak. It's a very watered down version of the Batman Arkham games freeflow style. But it's not as smooth and is more limited in scope.

But, it's still fun overall. Easy to just spend a few hours swinging around the city doing the side missions, collecting the comic pages, etc.

If anyone is done with their 360 edition of Amazing Spider-Man, and want to sale it for a decent price, PM me. Note you would only get like $10.00-$15.00 bucks for it at most places. Maybe a little more maybe even less.

No rush, I'm not in a hurry. But I'll buy today if the price is right.

Finished the game over the weekend. Got all the comics, completed the side missions, rescued all the infected, caught all the Beliot patients, finished all the Xtreme challenges, took all the pics and found a couple of the costumes. That's good enough for me. Back to Gamefly it went this morning.

If i had the time to play, or skill to get through them quicker, Id probably do Gamefly. Anyway, this is going to be one of those games where I wait till it's 20 bucks at Best Buy, just like Ghostbusters.

By black friday you can get this game for 15 at GameStop.....

I honestly like the game. It's fun. It has its flaws and all but it's definitely a blast to play.

I'm with this guy. Someone sell me this game for $10.
