Rama: The Hero Project
 

A friend of mine showed this to me this morning, and I found it to be interesting enough to share with everyone.

They're trying to make action figures based on the Hindi mythical hero Ramayana, and have come up with a product I think looks pretty good.

Here in the west, we have shows, movies, and heroes based on norse, greek, native american, and egyptian myth, we have stories set in the middle east, we have western stories that are based on chinese and japanese folk lore and/or settings... it would be interesting to see something like this take hold, with it's roots being in hindu myth.
