With all the SDCC 2012 coverage I believe this one just slipped by.

FINALLY a Mark Bagley inspired "classic" Venom!!! Why they added the Mercury "upgrade" is beyond me... I'd rather have a mass of tendrils... anyhoo... This will be a MUST buy!

Badass looking figure. I posted a link in the Legends Appreciation thread yesterday. Select has been knocking it out of the park lately.

wow this is my type of venom. Hopefully he still looks like this when it comes out. I say it has the McFarlane and Bagley feel to it since it comes with some many heads.

because when he first combined with the mercury and rose out of the water to see the cat on the pipe, it was so much more awesome looking than that figure. Especially with the red eyes. not to mention a whole lot more huge, almost like he was infected with a mega dose of super roids.
then he womps all over the Juggernaut like a Boss.

2 things, Symbiote needs to see this, and this MS figure is amazing!!!! I will be buying this for sho. From what I gather looking at the pics, is he comes with 4 headsculpts, 1 smiling, 1 in transformation mode, 1 angry and 1 super pissed and not sure if that one is attatched to the extra heads and arms or it's seperate, either way, the body sculpt is dead on, size being 8'' is perfect fit for ML spidey. not sure what the base looks like, but this figure is a home run!

I'd love to think that it came with all that gloriousness, but I can see at least three different package variations ahead:

1 Venom The Madness
1 Unmasked Venom
1 Regular Venom
(possibly 1 tongue Venom, unless they actually have the extra head in with Regular)

Thats usually how Marvel Select plays. The little description there also only mentions a detailed base, it says nothing about interchangeable parts.

I'd love to be wrong I really, really would. This looks like it could be the best Brock Venom figure ever. Is there any idea of a release date?

Saw this at Comic Con. It looks good. They didn't display all the heads or the madness parts displayed though. I hope all the heads come with it and you can swap it. I don't want to have to buy 4 Venoms. MS has an unfortunate habit of that.

Shit looked badass in person.

I think I can speak for us all, when I say MS hopefully makes only 1 maybe 2 versions of Venom, max! but not 4. I can live with 1 being an unmasked version and another being masked and both comes with extra hands, heads and base.

I'm in for this. Really hope they make a Flash Thompson one soon. Love that design.
