And is being made by High Moon Studios of War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron fame.

I just received the news from a friend in the panel who says a Hologram Deadpool crashed the Marvel video game panel during the Marvel MMO talk to announce his game instead. He did it in Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift fashion, lol.

Hopefully we'll get to see a trailer soon!

Great trailer. Game itself looks a bit rough, but that's ok for right now. They clearly "get" the character, and that's more than you can say for most comic games. Look forward to seeing this game develop.

Agreed. I really do appreciate that Nolan North, who also voiced Deadpool in the Hulk vs Wolverine animated movie and MvC3 video game, was brought back to voice him in this game.

Looking forward. I just got into collection Marvel Legends and bought coincidentally ML Series 6 Deadpool So I am so stoked for this game and I just love DP Personality.

I really hope this game doesn't flop like every other super hero game (exception being batman of course)...

As long is the game is well made, I'll pick it up. High Moon Studios did well with the Transformers license and I look forward to seeing what they can come up with here. Plus, I really enjoy Nolan North's work, so it has that going for it.

Excuse me? What exactly is your criteria for a flop?

There have been quite a few successful superhero games actually. Just because IGN doesn't rank a game a 9.0 or higher does not make it a flop. Games that rank at least a 7 are pretty solid.

Among those:

Marvel Ultimate Alliance (1&2)
X-Men Legends 2
Just about every capcom fighting game featuring Marvel Characters
Spider-man 2, Amazing Spiderman, Shattered Dimensions
XMO: Wolverine (Un-caged edition)
The Incredible Hulk- Ultimate Destruction (best Hulk game ever and one of the best comic book games)
The Punisher (those interrogations were awesome!)

So while I certainly don't think any of the above games were better than either of Rocksteady's recent Batman games that doesn't mean everything else constitutes a flop. They were each respectable games for their genre in terms of quality.

That said, I have full confidence that High Moon will provide us with the ultimate Deadpool experience. After playing fall of cybertron for a bit at comic con and talking to the rep, its clear to me that unlike other developers of Marvel games, High Moon is dedicated to getting the characters right and not sacrificing good game play for the sake of a gimmick. They really care about their audience. Activision is just the publisher for this game. They are the ones imposing their deadlines to meet.

The trailer is certainly hilarious! My hopes are high; I'll be interested to try a demo.

Whoa, I had no idea Daniel Way is writing the story for this game! I'm really stoked now. I own his entire Deadpool run, and while I think his recent stories have been lacking, I still think he has the Deadpool character down enough to be the right person to script the story for this game.

Played it this morning through steam it was £30.00 but might of changed now ^_^ but got an hour or so playing and boy is it fun , if your deadpool fan just get it , it's amazing !!!

Saw the entire game on Youtube, not bad, although I wish the X-Babes had more of a presence in the game then just a very minor cameo. Cable was cool though.
