 2013 Marvel Legends Wave 1 & 2 Hasbro Images |
|
Ultimate Cap looks awesome! Less detailed than the Toy Biz version but what the hell, the body for that was used for Face Off Cap and feels a bit finnicky, otherwise...this new one resembles the current look in the comics more so HELL YEA! A new 616 Cap using that buck is inevitable I suppose... X Force Archangel looks NO different than the SDCC exclusive...is Hasbro really just reissuing it? If so, that's cool for those who missed out. I dig the classic version a lot, THAT ONE DESTROYS THE TOY BIZ ONE! Hasbro is the ONLY company to get Archangel's wings right. I remember back in 91 wondering when Toy Biz would ever get them right. Now I feel nostalgic... The BIGGEST difference I see with that Wolverine is bigger ears on the mask, so it's a completely different head sculpt compared to SDCC. I bet Hasbro will just repaint the ML wave 6 head from Toy Biz but...I would love to be surprised. HOPEFULLY we see this in current/ASX colors too. I would buy that as the Toy Biz ML12 version is dated at this point(and the costume changed a bit by Civil War). |

I wonder how that Red She-hulk scales in comparison to MU. She's extremely tempting. Ditto to the Archangel, especially if Hasbro makes an MU Uncanny X-Force Archangel. So that way the bigger one can be the apocalypse mindscape one in his head(visually on the shelf with the big one behind him). Might have to grab two archangels. He looks too perfect for a darkhawk legends custom too. xD Darn you hasbro! And I don't buy legends except for key slots in my collection! Now I'm already tempted by 2 I didn't think about before! The SDCC archangel was the uncanny x-force costume wasn't it(nevermind, it's highgloss X-Force v3 with chrome wings)? I thought the main difference between the SDCC pack and the normal releases were the colors and slight mold differences on wolverine besides of course psylocke that'll probably get a full on new mold later. The carded releases are supposed to match the previously released warpath and other X-Force v3 figs? Bah. Collecting X-Force v3 and Uncanny X-Force is a pain in the butt because of the slight costume variations between the two. At least it leaves a back door open when stuff like the subscription archangel happen, but it's still annoying as frak. |

I've got the sdcc x-force set coming but this makes me angry that they were making the figs anyway. |

So much coolness my brain explodes! :) |

So jazzed about the She-Hulks. Sentry looks pretty sweet too. And of course X-Force Archangel if I can ever find the damn guy. |
|
Regular release Wolverine looks better, thanks Hasbro. I guess I'm not bummed out about not finding the box set now, heh. |

I don't follow X-Force and I'm confused. I just kind of like the costumes. What's the fictional and actual difference b/w the SDCC set and the retail releases? Thanks... |

SO HAPPY we're getting an updated Iron Fist now, he needed a new version badly. :D And I'm even happier that they are using the awesome BT Spidey body for him....I'm not completely sold on that hand though. http://cdn.toyark.com/news/attach/6/...1342415036.jpg I get its a Bruce Lee reference as seen in this pic: http://positivemed.com/wp-content/up...ruce-lee-2.jpg ...but its so distinctly a "thwip" hand that I wish they'd swap it out for a karate chop or grabbing-style hand instead... |

Uncanny X-Force is the current series written by Rick Remender. (Wolverine's hit team) X-Force v3 was the series by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost. (Cyclops' hit team) As for the toy differences. Slight differences on wolverine, including his head. No Psylocke for legends retail yet (new mold if they do), and Archangel is high gloss with chrome wings in the SDCC set while the normal has a more matte finished black and silver wings instead of chrome. At least that's from the pics. |

Mmmmmm, She-Hulks. Can't really find a reason to buy them though as I sold off my remaining ML figs, ah well. |

Jean Grey is another great character ruined by the Madam Masque/Hydra mold and weapon holding hands. For fucks sake they could have at least given her some "tele-blast" type accessories to cover the hands. |

Finally a quality Jean Grey action figure. I'll preorder her for sure. Can't miss out on her. I like the traditional Archangel. I'll get the XForce one too. I'm refusing to open my SDCC Uncanny X-Force set! |
