Kryptonian/Human Sex?
 

This question has been bugging me for awhile. Is it physically possible for Superman, Powergirl, Supergirl or any Kryptonian to have intercourse with a normal human? Superman may be able to perform the act, but I don't see how he could feel anything from a human female, and even if he did, the resulting orgasm would most likely kill the female. As for Powergirl and Supergirl, I think it’s really physically impossible for any normal human male to penetrate them. I thought about this when it was implied in the World Finest Comic that Powergirl was sexually active with normal human males. The only way I see for any Kryptonian to have normal enjoyable intercourse is with another Kryptonian. Which means the only people Superman can really mate with are Powergirl and Supergirl? For a non incest option, Wonder Women should make an adequate substitute. I'm not up to date on every Superman comic. Did they ever touch on this subject? If my theory is completely wrong, please let me know why. I'm very interested in a plausible explanation.

Believe it or not, there was a penthouse article going into that very subject, and was illustrated by old Superman artist Curt Swan. I don't the exact link,because I read about it a cracked article. But long story short: the human doesn't come out well

Thanks. I figured as much, But they didn't use Powergirl as a possible solution. I think she's Superman's best bet to have a child with and continue the Kryptonian race. Still a very informative article. Thanks Again.

Isn't Power Girl Earth-2 supergirl? If it's a case of repopulating the kryptonian race, then you risk diluting the genepool. Even if there were a few issues of the old comic, where Supes had a creepy attraction to Supergirl. He's better off trying to date some girl in the bottle city of Kandor.
If he just wants to score with Lois, then his best bet is a blue kryptonite condom

Are Supergirl and Powergirl even really Superman's cousins? I thought he just said that as a cover story for them being on Earth. I don't think they are directly related to Superman.

Supergirl is a direct cousin of Kal-El, both being members of the same family, The House of El.

Powergirl is not a direct cousin as she is from an alternate Earth, Earth-2 but I guess that could get tricky....

Better to knock up your cousin then your sister, Lol. Still I say it's time Superman starts a family, and Lois just won't survive the process.
