Do You Want Any Video Game Figures?

are there any video game figures that havnt been made or anounced yet that you would like to see, like uncharted, grand theft auto or somthing. i was thinking that i might kinda sorta want to get a bayonetta figure but i didnt know if any would be made but a day later i saw them on pre-order on BBTS, i dont know how i feel about it yet.

scarecrow 01-23-2010 02:58 AM

I really want a Metal Gear Big Boss figure. As in, when he was old.

sabretoothe 01-23-2010 07:51 AM

i guess i'll have to make one then :)

GogDog 01-23-2010 09:33 AM

They have 8 inch figures for VII, VIII, IX, X, XII, Crisis Core, and Advent Children. They also did Kingdom Hearts which has those versions of Cloud and Sephiroth.

Shin Densetsu 01-23-2010 04:44 PM

  • Fully articulated Metal Gear Solid figures
  • King of Fighters
  • Rock Man(Mega Man) REVOLTECHS!
  • Diecast modular Front Mission mecha
  • More NECA Ninja Gaiden, like villains and NES versions
  • Samurai Showdown
  • Fatal Fury
  • Guilty Gear
  • Marvel VS Capcom

This also. And I don't care about diecast in this case, but more Front Mission figures would be nice. I have some of the FM3 figures by ARTFX and they are nice. I'd love bigger, nicer ones.

Snowflakian 01-24-2010 07:12 AM

All preferably in MU/Joe scale...

Final Fantasy Dissidia (Full roster)
Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children (full roster)
Crisis Core
Kingdom Hearts birth by sleep - KH 2 including 358/2
Megaman Zero
Megaman ZX
Megaman ZX Advent
Snk vs Capcom Chaos
Darkstalkers 1-3
Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolf
No More Heroes
Zelda The twilight princess

MU/GI Joe articulation or even Motion Revive Series articulation and I'm sold.
Revoltech would be fine too. Especially after seeing the custom Megaman ZX and Zero ones.

Mega Man Zero figures would be amazing. I love that game.

Duke Masters 01-24-2010 03:27 PM

I'd like to see Neca to take the RE line further and i don't mean reissued figures.Maybe with some ryu hayabussa like articulation as well.

trebleshot 01-25-2010 01:32 PM

Let's see...

Some of this....

Definitely these...

and probably Joe-style Contra figures, just for good measure. Especially with weapon packs to recreate the various weapons in the game.

DarthNexus 05-05-2014 10:16 AM

My kingdom hearts figures were all poorly made and broke easily :/

Trivial Psychic 05-05-2014 12:43 PM

I would love to have any of these...

Bayonetta - I missed out on the Play Arts version, but I would really like her 6" scale. One of my favorite characters all time.

Mortal Kombat - I know they've done these, but thus far, they've been terrible. I would love to see what Mattel, Hasbro, or even a smaller company like NECA or Boss Fight Studios could do with these.

Skyrim - I've wasted more hours of my life on this game over any other. I'd kill to have my very own Sneakthief Archmage Punch-Cat!

Battlefield: Bad Company - Sarge, Marlowe, Sweetwater, and Haggard in Joe scale? Sign me up.

Far Cry 3 - Just Vaas. He really was one of the most memorable bad guys in recent history.

Street Fighter - I have high hopes for the new Capo toys, but I really want to see characters other than Ken, Ryu, Akuma...etc. (yawn...) How about Dee Jay (since he's the only one out of the orignal SSF2 cast that I'm missing...) Juri, Rufus, Juni, Juli, Poison...etc.

Tekken - Same thing as Street Fighter. I'd love to see characters like Bryan Fury, Ling Xiayou, Asuka Kazama, JACK, and Kuma (with Panda variant!) over the usual Heihachi and Jin offerings we tend to get.

Soul Caliber - Cool character designs with super poseability a variety of weapon variants? What's not to like?

Ninjinister 05-05-2014 12:52 PM

I'd explode if someone announced Skullgirls figures for wide distribution. I don't care what scale, I'd buy 'em.

Poison Shadow 05-05-2014 12:55 PM

I'm still waiting for someone to make a new Wesker from Resident Evil. Or a decent Jill. Claire too. NECA was finally getting their act together with the RE5 line (decent sculpts with some GREAT articulation compared to the Archives stuff) and then they gave up.

I already own the stuff I think is halfway decent from the Toybiz/Palisades/NECA days, but there's so much more potential from this license and no one is taking advantage of it. I'm kicking myself for passing on the Hot Toys stuff, but I didn't like 1/6 scale products at the time.

At this point I'd kill for McFarlane to get the rights to make some in the same scale as The Walking Dead toyline. Dead Rising too, while I'm at it. Mcfarlane knows how to do some kick-ass zombie collectibles!

eva00kai 05-05-2014 07:11 PM

Id kill to see 3.75" gi joe styled Resident evil, uncharted, the last of us, bioshock, and final fantasy 7 lines. No chance any of that would happen but eh a man can dream... I guess

Dr Kain 05-05-2014 09:26 PM

I want more Metroid stuff to go with my Figma. Like a Ridley and Mother Brain. Oh, and some Space Pirates and Metroids.

Some Final Fantasy VI figures would be nice as Square seems intent on making figures from everything that ISN'T FFVI.

Poison, giving up is NECA's trademark. They started to do a Legacy of Kain line but stopped after Kain and two versions of Raziel. They did four Castlevania figures and then stopped. They did like 14 different versions of Ezio and some versions of Altair and then stopped. They did 5 variations of Kratos and stopped. They did one Agent 47, one Lara Croft, but no one else from either of those series.

Pretty much NECA likes to tease, but when it comes to getting it up, they just cannot do it.

snake5289 05-05-2014 09:38 PM

A Joe scale RE line. I made an RE5 Chris a few days ago but I'd really like official versions spanning across all the games.

Yes, yes, and YES to all these Capcom and SNK fighting games (ESPECIALLY Darkstalkers), and also Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear, Tekken, and Soul Calibur!

Personally, I'd like some Dead or Alive figures as well. Those 3 3/4" ones from a few years ago were ok, but when I initially heard that they were done in the Microman style, frankly, I was envisioning little GI Joe-esque DoA figures :p

Some Blaz Blue figures would be amazing as well!
And, even though there isn't much of a niche for them here in the U.S., some Virtua Fighter figures would be nice as well :) Maybe if they were mixed in with my imaginary DoA figures, lol, it might be feasible. After all, a few VF characters were in DoA 5 (and DoA 5 Ultimate).

Yup, and that's exactly why I stopped buying their products. Their classic Planet of the Apes stuff is extremely tempting, but they would be gifts for my brother because he is a huge fan of the movies.

And I didn't even know they made Kain! I have the re-released Raziel, and he's one of my favorite video game-related collectibles to this day.

bmorr 05-06-2014 05:49 AM

i'd be kinda interested in articulated pokemon figures.

Dr Kain 05-06-2014 06:06 AM

Shin, there is a great MegaMan line that is fully articulated from Bandai in the D_Arts/Figuarts series. Barnes & Noble carries several of them in their stores too.

Snowflakian 05-06-2014 06:35 AM

3.75-4'' Capcom figures all the way!

Darkstalkers
Megaman ZX
Megaman Zero
Strider

Then also MG Solid/Rising in the 3.75''-4'' scale:
Solid Snake
Gray Fox (Cyborg Ninja)
Raiden (Cyborg Ninja)
And all variations of the cyborg ninjas.

Can't forget Metroid either!
Samus Zero suit and the various Metroid suits for 3.75-4'' all the way.

trebleshot 05-06-2014 06:37 AM

Braaaains. :)

OT, I'd like to amend my post from 4 years ago and say I don't want Revoltech anything (joint system is played out), nor do I really want PAK versions of anything either (not into their interpretations anymore). Give me S.H. Figuarts all the way (like a lot more Rock/Mega Man stuff) and some 3.75" G.I.Joe/MU-style versions as a more affordable alternative.

Shin posted that list over 4 years ago, long before the D-Arts figure was released. ;)
