does anyone own a neca ninja gaiden figure?
 

hey all i was just wondering if anyone had a neca ninja gaiden figure , i was wondering how the scale was compared to DCUC and ML figures? thanks!

I own one, love it, but it's 7" scale, 1" taller than ML/DCUC.

I have 2. Even though it is 7", it may work just fine with ML. Being the scale and proportions fluxuate so much between those things, Ryu's size(s) will hardly make a noticeable difference. Unless his awesome sculpt stands out too much.

And email Neca if the one you buy doesn't have his kunai. 3 years ago when he first shipped, they were missing from the package so Neca had to send them to you.

I wish I could get a replacement for mine, his arm snapped right off without me even touching it. I placed him down and I didn't notice it broke till I picked him up. Sucks because he is am awesome figure :(

I have it, but I kind of wish I hadn't bought it. The posseability and everything is awesome, it doesn't feel fragile like other NECA figures do, but they forgot to paint the silver on one side of his leg, so he had half a his armored plating all black, and I don't like how he is the only character they released. It's typical for NECA to just sit on a license, but still. Either committ to a full line or leave the license to someone who will.

The thing is, not too many people would be interested in a full Ninja Gaiden line, at least not enough for them to profit from. I like how they pick the main characters from various games and release them under the Player Select banner.

Well it is annoying when they have all of these licenses like Castlevania, Legacy of Kain, and God of War, but do not do anything with them. They had an entire Greek pantheon and monsters to work with, and what did they do? Give us 5 different versions of Kratos. They give us 3 SOTN characters, and instead of doing one of the other two major players, they give us a miniboss just for fanservice (and they did not even stick to the whole removable breast plate as advertised). Legacy of Kain, again, they have this whole world to work with, Dumah, Zephon, Mobius, Ariel, the Serafan, and all they do is Kain and Raziel. At least Blue Box Toys released Dumah before they lost the license.

For Ninja Gaiden we could have at least gotten NES Hayabusa, and the Black Spider Clan Ninja Leader he fought in 2(before he looked crappy in evolved form). Someone to fight at least.

For Player Select, I agree, however I think it was disappointing that they only did a few SFIV releases. No Sagat, Vega, El Fuerte, Bison, Blanka, Adon, et al?

Unfortunately I never saw one in stores but I came real close to ordering one from eBay.

And don't even get me stated on NECA not making figures from games. I'm still waiting for a Resident Evil 5 Jill and Wesker.
