Mighty Beans?

Does anyone buy these? i still have 9 that i bought 7 years ago.i think they stoped making them and now theyre back so i got a three pack and i got a king kong bean and on the paper it comes with it says the king kong bean is rare.

DrewBlank 02-02-2010 08:37 PM

I bought a few packs when I was shopping the clearance toys after Christmas. I doubt they have any long term collector value. Rare is relative, especially when declared as such by the manufacturer.

The beans are cute, though. The chihuahua spent a day or two in the captain's chair on the Enterprise bridge, before I got around to opening Pike.

I didn't know they were still around. Somewhere I have some TMNT ones. I don't know where they are though. Maybe I should do some digging. Now I'm curious as to what I did with them.

QFT

Companies/ebay sellers will use anything to get you hooked.

Anybody got pics?

trebleshot 02-03-2010 07:26 AM

I bought a couple packs several years ago, and as cute as they were, I still felt a little buyer's remorse when I stumbled upon them about 4 years ago.

And naturally, buying any now with a 3-year-old in the house is out of the question. She might think they're candy.

Ugh..what a waste. It the product that they make for the children that cannot afford the regular products.

I bought some Pokemon ones a long time ago. There was no point. The weebled and wobbled and they always fell down. I took some firecrackers and....well you know the rest.

The point is? Don't buy 'em they are a waste of time and money. They are not collectors items and they are surely not going to make a boom in the toy world...

Can I get an "AYE?"

ludovicotek 02-03-2010 09:33 AM

AYE!!!!

But still, sometimes us collectors can get hooked on some nonsense items. Remember Pogs?

Johnnyakiba 02-03-2010 10:02 AM

The AYE's have it!

but...I did have a lot of pogs when I was a child.

TheSymbiote 02-06-2010 09:56 AM

wow toywiz has single beans that are actually sold out,the king kong bean is $10.

Johnnyakiba 02-06-2010 04:14 PM

The small one? The tiny....less-than-an-inch bean?

TheSymbiote 08-18-2010 04:09 PM

trebleshot 08-18-2010 06:42 PM

So it begins again.

Well, fool me once and all that.

TheSymbiote 08-21-2010 08:48 PM

TheSymbiote 08-26-2010 03:01 PM
