busters all the way in this round!

Nexodusrex 09-03-2012 06:46 AM

ooooo. this is a tough one. both ruled the 80s.....I cant vote now, I cant decide

KingLouie731 09-03-2012 07:05 AM

I voted MOTU because unlike Ghostbusters I still have some of the MOTU figures from the 80s :)

both had great cartoons but ghostbusters ruled the box office over MOTU but basing it solely on the toys MOTU all day

MegaPrime33 09-03-2012 08:21 AM

Tough one. I had a lot of both lines as a kid.

T16skyhopp 09-03-2012 08:26 AM

If you pick He-Man you're siding will all the little brat kids from the birthday scene in Ghostbusters 2.

Lody666 09-03-2012 08:43 AM

MOTU for the win

If you choose Ghostbusters you're two broke fat guys dancing at a 5 year old's birthday party.

Yeah, but to the best song ever. And then we save the city. Again.

Dark Hayabusa 09-03-2012 09:25 AM

I can't choose!

Bill Murray chose He-Man.

Just wait, I bet you he won't be in Ghostbusters 3. Hahahahahahahahaha.

Waspinator 09-03-2012 10:07 AM

As much as I enjoyed Ghostbusters back then, I also liked MOTU. It's a hard choice. So i'm going with MOTU because right now MOTU Classics is my personal favorite toy line out there.

redx24 09-03-2012 10:35 AM

i remember more of GB than i can HEman. so GB for me and yes my fat ass is dancing asking chicks if they are the gatekeeper

Crazy Jetty 09-03-2012 02:03 PM

Ghostbusters. Much more clever concept, and better toys. Definately better vehicles. (Seriously, the vehicles in that line owned everything.)

As far as fiction goes (which is NOT a factor in these polls, nor should it ever be), TRGB is one of the few '80s shows that I feel still holds up well today.

Snailbot 09-03-2012 02:59 PM

Puttin Ghostbusters in the Slime Pit!

MOTU!

gunzilla 09-03-2012 03:13 PM

i feel the same i bout the first season on dvd and took it with me to babysit kids ages 3 -11 and it was the only time i ever seen all 4 sit down shut up and act right. gijoe didnt do this motu and she-ra made them act crazy as hell ben 10 worked for 1 and justice league made them violent.

trebleshot 09-04-2012 09:35 AM

While I loved the Ghostbusters movies and enjoyed the TV series, I didn't have very many of the toys compared to my MOTU collection.

So MOTU for me.
