Marvel Universe Comic Packs You Want To See
 

Alright after a while of not really buying Marvel Universe figures I found some figures within the past month and semi-got back into it. Some of you seen me mention this. Anyways.

Today I caved in and bought the Hulk VS Wolverine comic pack. I have long loathed the XMO Wolverine figures aside from Sabertooth, ASX Wolverine, XForce Wolverine, et al. However, unlike the atrociously painted single pack 1st Appearance Wolverine, the Wolverine from the comic pack is molded/painted in way better colors. Shading still looks like cheese but still an improvement. Also the eyes are not all f%^&*(d up. Thank goodness. Not hard to do, but my other Wolverines have been jacked up pretty bad in the paint department.

Hulk is AWESOME. Wow. The MU wave 2 Hulk is so inferior. I hope they repaint this new one soon into Grey Hulk because grey Hulk rules. Mr. Fixit FTW.

Anyways I have always loved the format for Comic Packs, I just didn't think they included the best figures until earlier this year. Captain Britan/Spiderman, Daredevil/Bullseye, Adam Warlock/Thanos, those are some great sets to have.

So list what Marvel Universe Comic Packs you want to see in the future. However let's go by the following criteria:

• List the comic that should be included
• List the costumes/designs for the characters that should be used
• List the parts/bodies that can be used from previously reused figures
• List any new parts that should be tooled(heads, belts, hands, bandoliers, weapons, hands, gauntlets, et al)

Iron Spidey/Extremist Iron Man packaged with Civil War #3
Retooled backpack that fits only three waldoes for spidey and a faceplate over forehead extra head for Iron Man

X-Force Archangel/X-Force Wolfsbane packaged with X-Force #7
Doesn't have to be a metallic finish so it'd be different than the subscription one and Wolfsbane would be awesome in he or costumed wolf form.

Ant-Man/Wasp packaged with any Avengers annual.
Not sure which comic, we just need then to complete most avengers teams. Antman from the MK/AM in brighter or darker colors and Janet's red/black or Yellow/black outfit.

Deadpool and cable

Ares and Hercules

Omega red and deathstrike

Franklin richards 2 pack (child version & future version)
Sebastian shaw & emma frost (hellfire club versions)
leader & abomination.
red she hulk & tyrannus.

A vision/scarlet witch two pack would be nice. You could use a the new mold for him that was mentioned somewhere else on the site (I think they made a whole thread about it). You could either put the comic with their first kiss or the one where they break up. Not a comic reader so I don't know if those exist or not but I should hope so. A kingpin two pack definately needs to be made, but I don't know the DD area of marvel to well so I would have to pick electra, simply because I don't need another DD. You could give her a white outfit to make her different from the single. Unless of course there will be a variant of that for the single carded. Then they could do a showdowland version of her. I read on wiki that she is a member of the hand so I would hope thats accurate to say.

I'd love to see a "Split Personalities" wave of CPs. For example:

Sue Storm/Malice
Smart Hulk/Joe Fixit
Nightcrawler/Belasco
Magik/Darkchilde

more wolverine in every pack.

First, I'd like to see alter ego figure packs, such as:

Tony Stark & Pepper Potts (with Invincible Iron Man #15)
Peter Parker & Gwen Stacy (with Amazing SpiderMan #121)
Bruce Banner & General Ross (Issue number needed)

Both Tony & Pepper would have their look and design from this issue. Pepper would be an out of costume Rescue (who could be included in the single card portion of the wave). Peter & Gwen would also look the part of the issue, with Peter tweaked a bit so he didn't look so 70s cheese :) Bruce Banner would be in the same basic body mold done for Parker & Stark and Ross would look the same as always, in military general attire.He would be packaged with a pistol. The new female body mold used for Scarlet Witch would work well for the women, right down to Gwen Stacy's high heeled boots.

Next:

Ant Man & Wasp (with Avengers #275)
Wolverine & Lady Deathstrike (with Uncanny X-Men #510)
Battle Damaged SpiderMan & Black Cat (with Amazing Spiderman #649)

The Ant Man in this set is Scott Lang, and the figure could be straight from the 2 pack with Ant man. Maybe darken his colors a bit. Wasp would be straight from this issue, with her classic Yellow/Black look. They would come packed with the tiny Ant Man riding the ant and tiny Wasp from the Classic Avengers set. Wolverine would have very few changes, but the paint apps on his costume could show damage from Deathstike's claws. Deathstrike herself would look like she does in the issue, which is a newer look for the character. Spiderman would use the new Spidey body mold, with a newly sculpted head to show damage and damage to his costume. Black cat would have her normal appearance.

Next up:

Scalphunter & Vertigo (Uncanny X-Men #211)
Psylocke (resculpt) & Spiral (Uncanny X-Men #505)
Jean DeWolf & Sin Eater (Spectacular Spider Man #107)

The 2 Marauders would have the look they did in this issue, with Scalphunter being packed with a large gun & sword. Psylocke would get upgraded to the new female body and packaged with a GOOD psi-blade and sword. Spiral would have the look shown in the issue, packed with 2 swords. Jean DeWolf would have her classic look and Sin Eater would come with his shotgun.

Cloak & Dagger; any issue of Cloak & Dagger, normal female buck for Dagger, Cyclops buck for cloak

Silver Sable & Sandman; any issue of Silver Sable & the Wild Pack, X-23 buck for Silver Sable, Absorbing Man buck for Sandman

Cannonball & Sunspot; any issue of New Mutants, AIM buck for Cannonball, Johnny Storm buck for Sunspot

So original. You should have added SpiderMan and IronMan to be really funny!

Wolverine #90

New mold Wolverine(MU style, not XMO), Sabretooth from the TRU 2 pack, repaint in flat colors.

Spiderman(issue where Gwen dies): new mold Spidey rocker ankles, thigh swivels, scribed weblines. Green Goblin with thigh swivels/rocker ankles

Maximum Carnage: any issue, new molds of Venom and Carnage, fully articulated

Ultimate Hulk VS Wolverine: new Hulk, new head, new mold Wolverine, able to tear body in half

Ultimate Hulk VS Iron Man: grey repaint of new Hulk, repaint of Ultimate Iron Man

spiderman sucks and i dont think i should say what part of my body i call iron man

these are all great ideas guys. Anything spiderman villain/side kick/etc is welcome to me. I really want to see ant man in 3.75 more than anything. Same with omega red and king pin.

Hawkeye(clint barton modern costume):With cyclops mold with quiver,bow,arrow and belt.

Hawkeye(kate bishop modern costume): With x-23 mold with bow,quiver,arrow,belt with sword holder and sword.

Comic: Hawkeye issue 2 or 3.

That would be amazing.

The MOC collector in me would really like to see this as a 2-pack or maybe a clever little 3-pack.

What BadMoon said Cloak and Dagger pack would be off the chain, I like a lot of the ones mentioned, I could post for days on possible 2 pack combos I'd love to see

Kraven's last hunt(forgot #): FF Spiderman repainted as symbiote suit, repaint of Kraven

Weapon X #4(AoA): Patch/Wolverine from Silver Samurai comic pack, new lower left arm or left arm with swappable wrist cover and set of claws. New mold Donald Pierce

Speedball/Squirrel Girl

-Blade vs Dracula
Tomb of Dracula #10. The figures will require a lot of new tooling. Perhaps the ROC McCullen/Xavier suit could be modded for Dracula. Blade would need removable translucent green goggles, a bandolier with removable stakes and place to hold a sword (later to be used with a better modern Blade). And give this Blade the Daywalker blade just for good measure.

-Black Panther vs Man-Ape
Jungle Action #5. Should include a "complete" Panther figure with new body, very slight lighter-colored striped gloves and boots, cape (from Target 2pk), chest/cape strap, spear (recolored Kraven spear, or tool a brand new assegai). Last but not least- a maskless T'Challa head. M'Baku should primarily use the Thanos/Juggernaut buck with re-tooled parts. Metallic gray painted chest, exposed biceps and thighs, white fur on the calves, green loincloth and boots. Include a spear for him as well.

-Emma Frost (White Queen) and Sebastian Shaw (Black King)
Uncanny X-Men #129. Classic White Queen with removable fur shawled cape, painted on corset and thong/low-rise panties, and thigh-highs all on the old style female body. Shaw should be all new perhaps with a slightly altered suit that could re-used as that weird victorian Beast costume later.

-Titania and Volcana
Avengers Unplugged(sigh) #4. Both re-tools of the She-Hulk body. Titania shoud have a new belt. Volcana fully molded in translucent orange and yellow plastic with silver glitter inside. A variant "Secret Wars" Volcana in human form in pink leotard would be sublime.

I could spend all night coming up with these.

Banshee vs. Black Tom; an issue of X-Men, cyclops buck for banshee w/repainted Adam warlock head, aim buck for black tom

Punisher(with classic skull paint job) vs. Jigsaw; an issue of Punisher, punisher buck for both

Nova(classic costume) vs. the Sphinx; an issue of the og Nova series, cyclops buck for Nova, upcoming Hercules buck for the Sphinx

Armored Black and Red 90's Daredevil vs Kingpin; daredevil issue, dd buck for dd, new buck for kingpin

Firelord vs Terrax; an issue of Silver Surfer, cyclops buck for Firelord, thanos buck for Terrax

Polaris vs Magneto(updated classic); scarlet witch buck for Polaris, cyclops buck for magneto

Captain America(updated classic) vs USAgent(updated with classic shield); issue of Cap, cyclops buck for both.

I've always been suprised that they haven't done another whole wave or two devoted to a comics "event" (ala the "Secret Wars" packs)
I mean really who wouldn't want a whole series of new 2-packs from any of the recent events ("Civil War, "Secret Invasion", "Siege", "Fear Itself", "AvX", etc..)

I know for a fact that this particular 2-pack would sell like freaking CRAZY:
"Sentry vs. Ares", with issue #2 of Siege

Others I'd like to see:
