looking to get into collecting mini bust and
 

okay so with the new release of that venom mini bust i think its time for me to jump into the mini bust world. . . only thing is i've stayed away from statues and sort because of my limited space and such but now im ready to get into mini bust and such so i wanted to know whats the best place to get mini bust from at good prices and also have a great selection.

i usually shop at midtown comics here in NYC and i like their ("lay-a-way") payment program they have where you leave half deposit and pay as you go as much as you want but i know theirs gotta be some good sites out there to get killer deals and such

can anyone point me in the right direction, i've found a few spots but i wanna know from the experts :)

I also started collecting busts. I only got 3 mini busts for now. Kotobukiya movie tHing at amazon. Gentle giant thing at bbts. And marvel icon minibusts wolverine at a collectible shop. For busts or statues, im no expert sir. But alteregocomics.com, ccgarmory, amazon or if u see good deals at ebay as well. Cause i do not have paypal so i only use amazon and bbts. Good luck on the hunt. Midtown comics has a great variety of busts also. If i was into collecting busts last time we went to nYc i might be able to get one last time. Let me know if u see some good sites as well sir. Cause i want to get hold of that legendary scale bust thing

Busts are cool and only if I had the $ to blow I would get my very favorites, but other than that I actually would pick the full figure statue over a bust any time, that's just me though. Currently I have none now, had to offload my X-23's due to space. For websites Sideshow collectible seems to be pretty good as well as Bowen Miller.

damn ebay is looking very promising i like the numbers im seeing on there not to bad at all.

ebay really is the best spot to look, as u will find common and rare items, ranging in price. I've seen some sellers have slightly damaged/broken statues and busts go for dirt cheap and are easily fixable. Condition is a factor, loose and damaged will always or should be half or less of retail value. Amazon and other sites have sales on from time to time, so check clearance items. Disney store has small marvel busts from time to time, my jumbo video store sells some highend pieces from time to time, same with LCS's, other then that search the internet and see what u can find.
