Suggest weapons for Movie ODIN
 

Hey guys. I got that cool Odin repaint at TJ Maxx. Cool huh? While his weapons are bad ass, the handles are way too damn big so I threw them somewhere and I don't remember nor care where they went.

So suggest weapons this guy could use. Odin showed up for like 3 minutes in the movie but each minute was bad ass. Like if I ever become a dad, I want to show up like that.

Anyways I don't care if weapons are from another line like GI Joe or whatever, I just need some bad ass weaponry for this guy to wield. This guy rules Asgard, he needs some destructive bad assery in the form of blades or something and not some dumb missle launcher or spring loaded barbecue fork.

the hobbit swords if u can get any. umm excalibur from the captain briton. minimates did odin staff, if u know how u can make it long enough for yours, and custom casters usally have cool swords and shields.

How about Avengers Loki Spear??

Mine has ML face off red skull's sword, big but not too big.
Also tricked out the shield he came with to be a bit thinner, took out the spikes.

This is the closest thing I can think of to Gungnir.

Odin needs his signature spear as much as Thor needs his hammer. You might want to hit up some of the online casting shops to see if you can find something.

Get the odin minimates figure so that you can get the helmet and spear head. You might have to do some trimming. I used a wooden skewer for the spear and glued it on. I also bought a horse figure from target. I need to optimize the shield. Been lagging on that.

I like the Odin comic colored repaint (whatever it's called). I was going to get one at Marshalls a few weeks ago, but I didn't feel like waiting in their long line. Wish I did now.

Symbiote, that Odin setup is awesome. The flowing cape looks fantastic.

I did somethign similar. I used cables pike from the MU fig. MM helmet. Some random horse one of my kids gave me. As always symbiote wins

I did read all of your suggestions, did not know Odin had a spear called Gungnir! After reading that, I decided I may use missle launcher of klll halberd that the Savage Opress figure comes with. Luckily I have the shirtless version with the regular staff and spear of destiny.

Strange that you guys are talking about Odin- I've got waaay too much packing to do and can get to it untill I;m in my new apartment but I took a Gandalf head and measured it against that minimates Odin helmet and they look to be a good match- I'll lop the top off gandalf's head rather than try to somehow force the helmet over his head though.
I figure I can add the eyepatch and get a look much closer to the comics...maybe make a new body for him though from an extra Mr. Sinister and some Aves- I want a nice tall and buff Odin!
