Funko MOTU Pop Vinyl

So...for the 30th Anniversary of MOTU we get cutsey figures with giant heads, letter openers, and bobble-heads? Really? I mean the Classics line is cool (if a little pricey) but why not reissue the original figures or give us a 3 3/4 line or SOMETHING cool?

Lordherb 10-20-2012 11:23 AM

A 3 3/4 line would be awesome. I have Teela & Evil Lyn, but I really want to get Skeletor and his crew. I collect 3 3/4 line but pretend the girls are Amazons. I am trying to reason that Skeletor could be from another reality, or time period when huminoids where giants. Then there’s the price, and soon as I get all the guys I want they could release a 3 3/4 line. But would it even be any good? The Thunder Cats 3 3/4 line sucked. Welcome to my Nightmare.

That is what I am aiming for too, and a few of my favorite heroes [Man E Faces, Fisto, Man at arms]

Lordherb 10-20-2012 12:25 PM

Hey Tiberius, always read your posts in the Masters thread, hilarious stuff man. [Ram Man looks sweet too]

Tiberius 10-20-2012 01:09 PM

You just like my banner.

ADMIT IT!! :P

Lordherb 10-20-2012 02:05 PM

Now that I think about it, your gags are juvenile and you are kind of a dick, but your Banner IS Hot. ;)

Dark Hayabusa 10-20-2012 04:08 PM

Aw, that Hordak's adorable. Plus it may be the closest I get to a filmation Hordark

Falconhood 10-20-2012 05:19 PM

I want these, but i have to ask...WHY NOT A HE-MAN IMAGINEXT LINE?
they would be a perfect match, and the figures would be small enough to have Castle Grayskull and vehicles...and they can do a Hero World 6" line of the more popular MOTU characters, not Pop Vinyl

That actually would be cool. Certainly a castle Grayskull I might be able to afford. But MOTU isn't a "evergreen" line. Certainly not as far as mattel are concerned. Us older collectors are the only obvious audience, unless the rumours of a movie are true

Falconhood 11-18-2012 04:02 AM

yes, but it's ripe to reintroduce a line to PARENTS to buy for their kids.
