Found a ton of 80's MOTU Stuff... Advice???
 

Hey guys, I found a ton of MOTU Figures and the Castle that's been in my attic since I was very small, I was upset when it went missing one day, turns out my mother thought I didn't play with it and put it up there... so it's been there for all them years.

Now by no means is this stuff mint, it was played with by some other people before even I got my hands on it, but it's in ok condition and I'm just looking to get shot of it.

I'd rather it go to a collector or someone who actually wants it, just need some advice on what sort of price to sell it for.

I'm willing to ship anywhere providing the shipping costs are covered etc.

Thought I'd try here before sticking it on ebay as I really need some advice on it, I've never actually sold anything before but this stuff is a bit too good to just throw out.

Also as a bonus I found a naked Spider-Man toy that I don't even remember having!!!

It all depends on condition and completeness. The castle looks like it has a decent amount of accessories, so you could get something good for it. Battle Cat looks complete. You could check the completed ebay auctions for these things to give you a solid base to go on and then use your best judgement from there.

What's up with the near naked Spider-Man?

Thanks guys, I'm doing a bit of research. Trowa195, I will get back to you a bit later on, not decided yet whether to split it up or send all in one go, would probably be easier to split it all up... Need a bit more advice though haha, thanks for the responses...

Also the naked spider-man was amongst these guys... not quite sure what was going on in the Attic for all these years... :P

Castle appears to be incomplete. The figures are all missing weapons or armor. You can get all those common figs on ebay complete in played with condition for about $10 each, that's including shipping.

At second glance it appears there's a few things missing from the castle, the flag, a 3 toed orange claw that the piece in the bottom right corner of the castle sits in & the elevator should have a string attached with a bird attached as a counter weight & the trap door & the base for the gun.

Wow thanks man, I literally had no idea what goes with it! It's just in my posession and I'd rather it goes to a collector! I'll have a look for the other pieces but I really dont think I have them. It's about 20 years since I last saw it.

NP. You're not in for a fortune, but if you don't care about them and just want the $. I wouldn't see why you couldn't get $100 for all of it as is. Condition and completeness are everything.

Advice? Display and play! Treasure them!

Based on bulk lots I've seen go, you have 13 figures, get probably $80-100 for them all, $30-50 for both cats, and $50+ for the castle. If they were MOC that'd be a horse of a different color.

Ok, well I think the purple cat's furry stuff has worn away in a few patches, but yeah, I'm in the UK too so these dollars seem like quite small amounts haha.

I need to make a decision fast, I haven't got the space to store it so I need to sort it out as soon as possible! Can someone PM me exactly what I should do, first sale I'm ever making so I want to do it right!

Keep what you have and start collecting them again. It's fun!

i'd be intrested in a few if you get rid of them cheap...
