I am actually fairly new to this whole customizing thing, been doing it only a few months. It will be obvious many of these are recipes I've utilized from others while I build up my skill set and slowly tackle more complex projects as I go. I've tweaked many of them to my own tastes as I've went. I've got some things to work on still as I'm not the best at sculpting yet and I've yet to do a wash that I'm happy with, but, I have to say, I am actually fairly happy with some of the completed projects and wanted to share some as well as get some feedback.

Oh, and so far I primarily work with Marvel Universe 3.75 inch figure. That being said here is a nice little progression of my first three figures.

Chamber of the X-Men
My first official custom, though since it involved only part swapping and one glued piece, its not very complex. Got the recipe from someone else and gave it a go. Its a Rex Lewis Joe figure for the base and hair, which is glued onto a Cobra Trooper head. The jacket is from Marcus, a Terminator figure.

Forge of the X-Men
My first figure with paint. I picked it since I actually enjoy the character, plus its a recipe that isn't too hard and been done before many times. Body is a Wolverine in school outfit, the head is Dr. Strange as well as the headband is a re-glued and painted waistband from the same figure. Just had to paint the hand and leg in black primer and throw a silver dry brush over it. I haven't put together accessories for him yet, so it's still WIP technically. The belt is just two part apoxie sculpt.

Northstar
My third one was also not too hard, but got me plenty of practice with small lines and details. Base is a black suit Spider-Man and the head is a Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow figure.
