Venom Varient?
 

i never heard about this anywhere but when i went to k-mart today i found a 3'3/4 venom with tongue.i would post a pic but my computer is not working so i'll try to post a pic later today.

I thought this was being discussed in another thread, but I can't find it. Anyway, I also don't have pictures, but I can confirm I have seen Venom with a tongue. Infact, I have never seen a Venom without a tongue.

It seems like I've seen one without a tongue before, but to be honest I kind of ignored the thing because of the lack of articulation on the legs.

Nope. I've only ever seen Venom on the shelf three times (x1 twice and x2 once) and they have always been with a tongue. I had no idea that a no tongue existed until last week, and I have still never seen one.

lol,today i went to walmart and they had 2 with no tongue and i got 1 and then i went to kmart and they had 2 with tongue and i got another.

It's my mission to now find a no tongue. He is my variant! Lol

It was originally reported that the With Tongue version was exclusive to Canada and the Without Tongue was for the US, but after a few weeks of Without Tongue I started seeing both versions pretty regularly.

I've seen both with and without the tongue as well...

Huh, I totally forgot about this and I finally picked up the whole first wave today. I've seen Venom for a while now but never even noticed if he had a tongue or not. But I ended up getting the one with the tongue, which I assume is the variant since it's the tongueless version we see on the back of the box.

i got both and i actually dont mind having both.

Without is supposed to be the regular release and With is the variant. I have yet to see the one With on shelves, but I'm not that fond of a Venom without knees even if it didn't have that stupid RE-meets-Alien tongue. I've always preferred the big toothy smile, myself.

I just thought of something.

That new Black Spiderman (Dark Avenger) we are suppose to get. His body is pretty beefy, do you think we could remove the head of the Venom from the Spidey line and put it on the DA Spiderman? It could give us full articulation
