Hot Toys Iron Man 3: Tony Stark Images

The Iron Man 3 movie is coming in just three months! Hot Toys is excited to present the 1/6th scale Tony Stark Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from this highly anticipated Iron Man 3 movie.

The movie-accurate Tony Stark collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Robert Downey Jr. as the genius billionaire Tony Stark in his workshop in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt, newly sculpted advanced body with light-up chest light and highly detailed accessories.

the face is different, other hot toys are "more" Robert Downey than this.

is it just me or as the cost of HT goes down, as does quality.

im not sure how many of you have the older IM starks. this is right on par if not a little better in relation to its likeness to its source in comparison to the other stark sculpts out there.

as for quailty. its remained the same. same issues same materials etc. now that HT has hit it a little more "mainstream" their issues with QC and such is much more noticeable since its out there more then ever before.

that said, it looks great.
it will compliment the mech test version nicely. cant wait.

I don't have any IM Tony Stark, I only saw pictures, and for me the older ones are more accurate to him, just my opinion. ;)

For example, in my opinion this is more "Tony" than the new one http://www.toyark.com/news/attach/1/...1288877023.jpg

I'm glad now I'm not a Hot Toys completist. Tony is cool and all but Iron Man is so much cooler. ANd for $250, I'll stick with the armor.

he kind of looks like Hugh Jackman

Iron Man is turning into the "Batman" of Marvel. How many f***ing versions of him do we need?

And maybe the face is supposed to resemble an OLDER RD Jr?

Thats what I was thinking. This new head sculpt looks like an aged, older Robert Downey, Jr. You can definitely see how much older Robert looks as compared to earlier releases.
