Toy Fair 2013 Mattel Max Steel Figures
|
These look cool but suffer from Mattels zero articulation policy.
|
Killer designs and love the aesthetic of almost tron meets max steel...
But the no articulation kills it entirely. might get a few for custom fodder like that black armored one and white helmeted one. Otherwise entirely a skip. |
Oh well. So much for the build up.

This toy line feels very on par with Ben10, which is what they are probably aiming for. |

Despite the articulation issues, these actually look really good. I may pick up a few for custom and display purposes. |
Brilliant Mattel.
Take your hugely successful Latin America property, strip away EVERYTHING that made it a compelling and unique product (12", articulated and accessorized) and dumb it all down to "yet another mediocre cartoon line". Judging by Acceleracers and Battle Force 5, cartoon will probably suck too. |
Ugh. Mattel.
The sculpt work and overall of the aesthetic look really nice, though. I'd even buy a few if they added some joints. |
Yo Mattel good luck bruh
Ben 10 has this beat...but I collect neither. |
