I don't get why it's a limited edition. I can understand it for a big-ass Portal gun, but not for an action figure.

will toys r us be getting her in or was i supposed to have pre-ordered from somewheres to get one??

What's the in-store price for her? I have her on pre-order for $22 (not including shipping), but my patience is running thin if it's out in the wild.

Toys "R" Us prices NECA 7" figures about $15 - $17. Comic and specialty shops will likely have it a bit more. But that will be a good indicator of what to expect at retail.

I might be going to TRU here soon...lol...Chell looks really good, and the light-up portal gun is nice. Though I agree with Shadowknight1, there's really no reason for this figure to be a limited production in any way. That said, I'm not all that familiar with NECA's usual production runs, so this might not be as bad as I'm imagining it to be...

To be frank, I have a sneaking suspicion that NECA's gonna end up making a mass-production version with a non-light-up portal gun and a slightly different deco.

Or maybe even a Portal 1 version. My point is: I doubt that Chell's gonna be limited for very long.

I can definitely see that happening, especially if this edition sells out quickly.

Okay, so I've had her for a few weeks now and keep forgetting to post about her on here.

all aroumd, she's a solid figure. The sculpt is great, she feels good in my hands, and she's got a good range of articulation.

There are two issues I have, though. One is the hips. The universal joint plugs upwards into her crotch as opposed to sideways, meaning you have to fenaggle the joint to get the leg to move forward. Not a big deal, quite a few figures have done that. The problem is, the sculpt of her thighs prevents them from rotating to face forward while the joint is facing forward. This means you have to rotate her shin to get her in a knees bent pose. It doesn't look bad necessarily, but you can tell something's a little off from some angles.

The second issue is a little more major for me: she holds the gun pretty loosely. You can get it in there and it won't fall out, but it will wobble and flop around inside her hand unless you use the other hand to prop it up.

Neither ruin the figure for me. She's still solid, just not spectacular. Only really bother if you're into the source material, otherwise, you're not gonna get much out of her.

TRU is charging $22.99 for this. I wasn't planning on buying this but meant to check it out in person. Looks great but wow dat price increase..

The Team Fortress figures, the Left 4 Dead Boomer, and a few others have seen a price increase up to $22.99 also.
