Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls/5 Below Instock Thread
 

We've got one of these on TFW that's been going pretty strong for a while now, I figured it might do some good here for those of us that collect other stuff.

Discount stores like TJ Maxx, Ollie's, 5 Below, etc seem to be great places to find figures from later waves of toy lines that never really seem to hit saturation in regular stores like Wal-Mart, TRU, Target, etc. So lets work together to help each other out in keeping up with which stores are carrying which items.

Recently I've found the second wave of 4" Thundercats figures at 5 Below, Ollie's had some 3 3/4" DC 3-packs that included a better articulated Batman and Superman, and apparently the second wave of Dollar General GI Joes has been showing up at Marshall's & TJ Maxx.

I've started to see some Transformers Prime stuff at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. Cyberverse playsets for $10. Not a bad deal at all.

Winners in Canada is clearing out the Thundercats 2011 stock. Vehicles/playsets are now $7.00. There's also some Thor movie 4-inch figures left for $5.00. Managed to get a couple of Green Lantern movie figures (Sinestro and Krona) for $3.00 each. Not much else except for random Transformers movie toys.

I didn't even think about posting clearance items, but my local WM has the Thunder Tank on clearance for $7 if anybodys looking for one. I snagged on just to take Snarf out, not sure if I wanna keep the tank or not yet though.

EDIT: also most of us already know but the IM2 3 packs with unmasked Iron Man & War Machine have started showing up in the UK at TK Maxx... So if anybody wants to hook a brother up shoot me a PM. :D

Well, Winners is a discount store owned by the same people as Marshalls/TJ Maxx.

Stopped by WM on my way home after work and found restock of the Black Friday Marvel 8 packs for $17. They didn't appear to be old stock from BF though, as about 1/2 of them had Avengers or Amazing Spiderman figures in them too. I'll post some pics in the morning.

I saw that at one near me as well as the Thundertron/Ultra Magnus voyager wave for $13 each. Too bad I already owned both molds, but it did give me the chance to snag the Cyb. Bumblebee mech suit for cheap.

i found some neca bionic commando figures a couple of weeks ago, totally had no idea that they made it to the ross/tjmaxx/marshalls route.

Great idea for a thread as most ppl think not to go into ross or tj maxx to look for figures.

Classic color sentinels can be found at tj maxx along with red skull white gloves variant.
The later iron man figures have been seen at ross and tj maxx. I found this guy there. Been wanting him for awhile.

I found a freakin King Laufey at 5 Below last weekend. I never thought I'd obtain this guy, let alone for $4. Score! Also grabbed a King Loki but don't think I'll open him just yet because I think the Avengers one looks a lot better, despite the cut articulation.

There are still comic colored Sentinels there?

i saw one a few weeks back.

I saw some Iron Man figs and a couple of figs from the Captain America series at my local TJMaxx, but no Sentinels. :-(

Awesome man had no idea the Player Select figures ended up there. Anyone find the NECA Assassin's Creed figures?

I picked up a set of Squinkies today for my kiddo. They were the Marvel superhero squad wave at Marshall's. I just hope the boy does not choke on them!

None of these places that are around me have anything good, ever. Last time I was at Ross they had One Piece and Naruto figures from like 2006 or something, and the TMNT tower playset from the 2007 film. This was in January of this year.

It makes me so sad :(

Also looks like PRID Skyquake is showing up at DDs Discounts, they're owned by Ross so hopefully they'll show up there too.

wow. foc grimlock at marshalls? i know what i'm searching for on friday...

If anyone can pick up an extra Grimlock at this price I'd appreciate it. I'd take a loose one too if you could hook me up for the retail price plus shipping. I don't own many Transformers, but I like the character and the design and will likely pass it on to a younger relative when I'm done appreciating it's awesomeness.

Someone is really failing at Hasbro's distribution dept (and Marshalll's is winning). How can a FOC Grimlock- a toy that only hit my TRU 2 weeks ago, now be at a deep disount store going for less than ⅓ of the price I happily paid!?

I'd be happy getting it for $7 but also sad that Hasbro is killin itself throwing away money. Then they'll probably tell us non-movie TFs don't sell...

Add grimlock onto that? A figure I've yet to pick up and would also pay full price for? Heck yeah I'll check out the cheaper places. xD

I feel sorry for other retail outlets passing on this stuff that'd make it available at these places. =D

While I do find FOC Grimlock to be an odd duck, I have seen it a few times at TRU and most recently at Target. It's also possible that stores just didn't order Generations voyagers until recently, especially since it's a new size class and Grimmy is in wave 2, along with Blaster.

Man, I hope so. I barely saw wave three (Dreadwing) before wave 4 (Ultra Magnus/Thundertron) came in like gangbusters, followed immediately by wave one of the Beast Hunters voyagers. Wave 5 of PRID (Skyquake) isn't likely to hit at major retail around here any time soon, if at all.

I'd hate to only own one of the Spark brothers in the voyager class. They look so good together in Cyberverse.
