Thinking of Trading my MU for DCUC and HML
Thinkin of trading my Marvel Universe collection for DCUC figures and Hasbro Marvel Legend figures. Could probably get quite a bit considering I have the Helicarrier, Solid Vision, the Masters of Evil, Maria Hill, Nick Fury, invisible invisible woman, flame on human torch, IM2 Mandarin and more.
what do you guys think? |
When it comes to your toy collection, I say do whatever makes you happy. If you're burned out on MU, then DCUC and ROML are certainly good alternatives. If it's just that you're bored or uninterested in the current and/or future waves for MU, then I'd say pick up a few DCUC/ROML figures (if you don't own some already) to see if you really want to jump over.
Space is also a consideration, especially if you're any kind of MISB collector. My particular brand of crazy is certain store/con exclusives and other rarities stay sealed, but pretty much everything else gets opened. It also might not hurt to get an inventory and hit evilBay to see the status of your collection and also get a preliminary shopping list together for DCUC/ROML so you can see where you stand should you pull the trigger. Either way, I would definitely suggest taking your time with this so you can be sure you'll be comfortable with the decision after the fact. The last thing you want is to have any regrets, especially since they could taint your enjoyment of those other toy lines. And of course, as a fellow Daytonian, I'd appreciate a head's up if you do start trading/selling your MU off. :D |
