I have to say the music is cool even though the movie was really bad.

behindthemask 03-26-2013 11:24 AM

Talisman 03-26-2013 12:24 PM

well other figuarts are in the 50 dollar range but the new black and blue ranger 2 pack is $75 so if it is a 2 pack im think the same price.

Shin Densetsu 03-26-2013 01:31 PM

Look freaking awesome I hope Tamashii does the Gorillaz next!

netkid 03-26-2013 02:51 PM

Depends what you wanted out of the movie. If you wanted to see great effects, kick ass lighting, great music, and action, like I did, the movie was excellent.

The movie was/is awesome! Why do people on these boards say every movie sucks or is bad????

People have different opinions - such is life, especially on the Internet.

Personally, I was fine with Legacy. Not as good as the original IMHO. But I grew up on the first one, so my nostalgia goggles are firmly in place here.

Joe Moore 03-27-2013 06:36 AM

I was a bit disappointed in Legacy upon first viewing. Didn't hate it by any means, just disappointed. However, the second viewing and beyond have made me fall in love with the film.

As for the films music, I still feel like it was a travesty it wasn't at least nominated for an Oscar. I remember being in the theater and thinking this was some of the best use of music in a movie in a long time. The soundtrack has been in constant rotation on my iPod since then.

And if these came out as "Tron: Legacy" versions, I would probably consider getting them.

Dr Kain 03-27-2013 07:31 AM

I honestly don't think the original is all that good of a movie. I saw it for the first time when Legacy came out and it was all right. Not the amazing movie I have heard nonstop about for 20 years.

The full impact of the first movie is lost if it wasn't seen close to its original release in the 80's. Watching it for the first time now is best solely for following continuity with Legacy and Uprising. Film making owes a lot to what was done with the original Tron, but those who grew up with and/or are only accustomed to modern visuals won't appreciate it all that much.

trebleshot 03-27-2013 08:38 AM

^ What he said.

It's the same thing as watching the first Star Wars film. In this day and age, it's really difficult to see why it had such an impact unless you were there when it came out.

thecarrionidol 03-27-2013 09:53 AM

They look amazing.

Tony_Bacala 03-27-2013 03:19 PM

I'm down for some Tron versions, bring it.

scarecrow 03-27-2013 06:49 PM

Getting these, no question about it. I cancelled my Isaac Clarke preorder and fully intend on just saving for this. I was crushed when I saw how expensive the Hot Toys ones were(never really knew what Hot Toys were until then). These have me so excited.
