On Mattycollector.com today I found a secret figure, Spirit of Hordak, I bought him at the first sight, then there was a purchase link i found which said

Then I revisited the page and it said, You're Too Late, Hordak Is Back in Hiding

Where on the page??? in the sale page or somewhere else??

Well I closed the page to buy Hordak, and went to the recently closed, and clicked it, and it was gone, and to buy it, it was on the MOTUC sale page

that's both cool and weird.
I would buy a clear hordak if I found him...

Saw this on facebook this afternoon, went over to Matty and purchased one, I was hesitant because of a second shipping and handling charge this month and because it said he'll reappear in the future...either way I picked one up, def keeping him MOC.

I get the rarity aspect of the figure, but it looks hideous to me, and Hordak is my favorite mold/figure from that line.

Damn another Matty Collector figure that I have absolutely no chance in getting. Thanks guys. Stunts like, this is what makes people hate a brand. Totally annoying. I am going to make a bunch of really cool toys and make it impossible for Scott to get them. Ha just kidding I am so glad I have a smart phone though. Hey make a Matty Collector Iphone app!!

No other info yet? Was it just a one day sale? This is truly frustrating as a customer. First Strobo and now this?

Has anyone else found this up again???? I have been checking the link and the main matty page for the last 2 days and seen nothing. What is Mattel saying about this??

I'm sure Spirit Hordak will be up again multiple times. They wouldn't waste $ only making a limited # of these. It's just a stunt to generate buzz in-between monthly sales. I happen to be home at the time and got a heads up from He-man.org so I bought one. I don't expect it to be as rare as a sub exclusive figures. Don't give in to secondary market prices until you know they are gone. If I hear about it again I will certainly post something here. I'm actually surprised it has not popped up again so far.

I am a Horde Whore, I always liked Hordak better than Skeletor. The figure is kind of strange to me, but I need 2 (one to open and one MOC) I would love to see them make Adora from the new He-Man comic from DC in her Hordak style armor. New Hordak from the comic reminds me of the newer Brainiac from Superman.

I havent seen him since.

I think this is a really good marketing idea for MOTU. I hope we see more of this in the future.

I just looked at like 530 and nothing. They just need to put them up for regular sale.
