Iron Man 2 - Mark I Golden Variant??
 

No, sorry guys, it's just good 'ol Excelsior having fun with his figures, lol.

I'm moving out of my current apartment soon, so I've started to pack up my stuff, including my figure collection. I just thought it was cool how my custom Iron Man "Golden Avenger" figure looked in the packaging, especially next to the original. Check it out!

Seriously. That's what let me to do that custom in the first place, the fact that they didn't do such an obvious classic.

Great looking custom, but it needs the skirt that that armor had!

Awesome custom. You should also add a little antennae on his left shoulder. I've seen some incarnations of this armor with that added. For 'flair', I guess? :P

Unfortunately, there's no way to add a "skirt" without seriously hindering the articulation. I based it on more recent artwork.

Ah that's true.. I also haven't seen that cover yet. I can't stand Larocca's art.. I'd love for him to be off Iron Man real soon.

eh i prefer him without the metal skirt :)
