Marvel Select Figures
Hi,
Newbie here so sorry if this is in the wrong section but i have a question regarding these figures well mainly packaging. So i'm fairly new to collecting and noticed it slightly on all of the figures i have but i'll use Barbarian Hulk as an example, you know where the little Radiation Symbol is on front of the box it's started to like have little bubbles in it, they certainly wasn't there when i bought the figure and just wanted to know is this a common thing? Has this happened to other people? Any help would be really appreciated, it's a little bit annoying to be honest. |
hey, so things like that happen from time to time, it can either do with how the sticker was applied, or due to heat.
If you;re really hellbent on getting them out, you can scrape them out but may ruin the packaging |
Hi,
Thanks for you reply. Yeah they are just on the sticker and i have a figure that just maybe has one little bubble and another that maybe has 3 or 4, can it be quite a common problem then? I know it's not a major problem but it just a little bit annoying and i just wondered if it was a common problem with this line of Marvel figures. |
Doesn't surprise me. I just got a load of Marvel Select figures shipped from their UK distribution and none of the figure packaging was in perfect condition. They are OK but not pristine. They came in the original Diamond Select brown outer boxers with no internal packaging. If you're looking for a range to collect perfect boxes from, this isn't an easy one to go for.

Yep totally agree with movie figures below. Marvel Select boxes are hard to keep in pristine/mint condition, but the small air bubbles your talking about are probably down to lack of glue. You could try taking the sticker off and re - gluing it, but this will most likely result in more box damage.

Hi all, I'm also new to collecting Marvel select figures and am a bit unsure of the way to go about especially with regards to the packaging, the packaging is itself from what I have seen almost as unique as the figure inside but from what i have read to try and get the figure out of the packaging the packaging normally ends up ruined. So my question is in order to show of the figure outside of the packaging and show off the packaging is it worth buying 2 of the same figures at a time (one to keep sealed in the box and one to display) or is this overkill?

The new Stealth Captain America Marvel Select is crap compared to the Marvel Legends.
I said something on the CollectDST Instagram and they deleted my comment...Touchy. Touchy. |
A fact you didn't ask about...
My MS Juggernaut fell 7 feet to the hardwood floor and landed directly on his head, other than a small paint rub - he's still perfect! |
