Blog help?
 

I dont know if this is against the rules but what should i blog about
? ive had this blog for a while but i never used it.and how do i get people to look at my blog(i really hate the word blog)

You can toss it in your sig, so every post you make on your various forums is a form of advertisement at the same time.

After that, it's just mostly content and people hotlinking it, at least if you prefer grass roots exposure on the internet. There's probably more that can be done if you're serious about using it to generate revenue, but again all that circles around content.

Generally it's best to blog about things you know inside and out. Easier to field responses if you feel like it, and helps maintain accuracy. It's also a good idea to blog about something you love, otherwise what's the point in doing something you don't?

I started out with a toy review blog, so maybe that might be a good place to start.

Snowflakian's got the exposure stuff down. That's all good advice. I would definitely start with something you consider yourself an expert on. A "reviews" blog is a good place to start.

Also, don't be surprised if your blog evolves from one thing to another over time, that's commonplace.

Like Snow said, put a blurb in your sig and you'll be fine. If you're still unsure, you can always PM one of the mods (including me :)) for further questions about Toyark rules.

Believe me, you'll get enough traffic from your sig that it will be more than adequate. Just be sure to keep the sig updated whenever you update the blog.

Excelsior07's sig is a good example, as is Snow's.
